This thread is a great example of how the internet tries to ruin everything nice.  Here we have, some of the best television in the history of television, and people are just ****ting on it from all angles.

    Like, just stop watching.

The last two shows were great with the battle of Winterfell being one of the best TV show episodes of any show ever.

Maybe it’s a vocal minority, but there is an abundance of negative posts surrounding this season.  Nit picking every aspect of the show from the moment it airs.

The last part of your statement is exemplary of why the internet ruins everything good.  Once something attracts a huge amount of popularity, fans become ever consumed with its existence.  If this “good thing” doesn’t top the fans ever growing expectations then they start to turn.

There is a certain segment of GOT fans, the vocal ones, who will never be satiated by the show’s outcome.  No matter what happens, it won’t be enough.

What is this your first day on the internet pal ? Its what people do on forums. Sometimes you come to agree , sometimes you come to disagree  But if opinions on a Game of Thrones sub forum is ****ing up your enjoyment of the show you need a mental holiday from the interwebz.

I personally have enjoyed this final season, i think its been great, Was Arya killing the night king and saving the day out of place ? Yeah , Unrealistic  ? Probably not, i mean she did train in Bravos for like 6 seasons becoming a assassin. It did feel very out of place though. Game of Thrones M/O has always been i want to say, a realistic and dark take on high fantasy as opposed to the bubble gum, hero saves the day and they lived happily ever after Tolkien take on fantasy, It just didn't feel very Game of Thronesy to me. Its no secret the writer ( REAL WRITER ie Book author ) Is still finishing how his SERIES will end. We are told he shared this with the shows writers but this is still their version and not George RR Martins, and it shows Big Time.

it can't be dragon eggs... it took her three dragons a long time to grow up.  i bet there's some way that she can reanimate petrified/hibernating dragons that they find at Dragonstone or something.  a bunch of baby dragons ain't helping without a crazy (even by GOT standards) unrealistic time warp.

Hmmm. yes good point. Ok then what about Samwell tarwell reads some obscure passage in one of the books he stole from the citidel of a land where many dragons still roam, Better yet what if Bran worgs into a giant sea sloth and takes the capitol for his family  . I DONE LOST MY MIND

I know, right!  With this season - you never know.  Heck, the dragons prob laid eggs overseas.  And now, Daario and other Dothraki warriors are going to ride in on dragons and save the day! 😄

I like that theory and it has crossed my mind Daario is the only character from last season who hasn't made a appearance or been mentioned , yet.   He has to play some part in this battle.

But yes i bet the dragons laid eggs, how does she know all 3 are males ? And even if they are maybe they are like sea horses and self reproduce`. Also didn't sir jorah in one episode mention the "dragon lands" or some ****, Too much nerd theory my brain is swimming

  4. I could see this as one of those terrible seasons if you like offense. Every game is going to be a 16-13 struggle. IMO our defense is LOADED while our offense will be dreadful. Paloffs are definitely not now

  5. I liked the episode and didnt find it too dark although i did have a issue with the way they filmed most of the fighting which I assume was done purposely to show the chaotic nature of the battle and how they really weren't doing battle & sword play as much as just surviving. Too much camera shaking and out of focus actors, It was just just a mish mosh of flying bodies and yelling, if that makes sense.

I did feel the ending was a bit anticlimactic as well , I mean they have been milking this white walker invasion since season 1 and it was all ended by ARYA STARK child assassin ?  Yeah i got she is bad ass with alot of training but for christ sake, It all ended so fast..... I dunno ? Again does that make sense ?

Either way it was a great episode , Can't wait to see how it all ends but i am afraid the show may have lost its edginess and unpredictability after the way the Whitewalkers went down. Season 1 would have seen Arya stark die in that final scene and the white walkers take winterfell, I'm afraid the show writers might be trying to end the series with a cliche Hollywood and they lived happily ever after finish which isn't what the show is about. I'm not saying the show has to end on a down note but it does need to be more clever than Arya Stark saves the day.... Because this show has been quite clever in the past.

  6. You need a 5th option, Yes but the experience was hit or miss. I smoked alot of pot between the ages of 19-23 and from what i remember ( not due to the weed, i think) sometimes the experience was great  and sometimes i had paranoia , i think thats when the weed is too strong , yes? If weed ever became legal, in the sense i could buy it at the gas station like pack of cigarettes i could see myself smoking again, once in awhile the same way i might treat myself to a 6 pack on the weekends. But going out of my way to get it , in my 40's at this point in my life, Nah, no desire too.

Yep.  The Fight Pass was the first step, but at least then most of the Fight Nights were still on FX or FOX.  Now with ESPN  a much bigger percentage of cards require you to pay extra to see.  It's lame.  I already pay a lot of money just to have ESPN/ESPN2/etc etc in the first place.   Oh well, my firestick never lets me down ;)

Yeah i dont have a problem paying the 5 bucks a month for ESPN +  my issue is i just want to sprawl out on the couch after a long work week and watch the fights on the TV not hunched over in my office watching on a computer screen . I m surprised a upcoming sport like UFC would go this route and limit the amount of viewers with such a horrible model.

Great Pick by the Redskins we needed a replacement for Crowder and this is a upgrade IMO. Also a smart move to bring in a WR for Haskins to smooth his transition

Doctson needs to go, he is too inconsistent and the rare flashes of brilliance doesn't compensate for the times he is either lost on the field or not on the field at all. At this point he is just taking up a roster spot in one of our weakest positions. It's time to move on.

NFL confirmed bears to host packers in the season opener (when the super bowl winner would traditionally host) this year. Good matchup to kick off the 100th season of the nfl :)

Agreed , there is something still magical about soldier field, especially night games. Bears and Packers is a great rivalry , great game to kick off the season

This was great, thx for putting this up. Its funny as you get older not only do you watch highlights and remember the great games and Redskins players but you replay points of your own life , where you were  & who watched the games with its so much more than just football.

  11. The skins are in a bad place right now and they need any boost they can get, People will laugh at me for suggesting a uniform change could provide any boost but I'd disagree. The psychology behind changing uniforms has proven successful before from the bucs to the broncos to the Giants and the Patriots. The Gold on Gold is hideous but at this point (our lowest of the season) F It, why not.

  12. Can someone tell me why Strohman a 7th round rookie was covering OBJ multiple times yesterday ? Iv watched this kid get torched consecutively for 3 or 4 weeks now going back the Saints game. In a otherwise great defense this guy is slowly becoming a liability and even dopey ELI was picking up on it and started going after him late . Someone explain to me why he is on the field?

  13. I hate doing this but i can't help to imagine we go 5-2 this Sunday. If that happens i have to be very honest when i say i would have never guessed we would be in first place with that record going into the Nov Playoff run. Redskins and winning seasons have become few and far between . Don't know about the rest of you but im savoring this season, feels dam good.
