  1. But to have the opportunity to get a guy like Greg Monroe? I dont think we should pass that up. Im not saying give up the house for him, but Gortat/Nene and Ariza/Webster for Monroe, i would do.
  2. Lol at the Orakpo comment. We definitely do need another star, kevin durant would be amazing obviously, but i dont see him leaving, even with all the connections to DC. We need soemone like a paul george lol i dont know where we could get one, but its fun to think about
  3. A certain someone claims that John Wall is overrated. We all know this. But here's his justification for why he believes that: Did you guys read that? Getting in as a reserve in an All-Star game, validates that he is overrated and is not a top 5 point guard. Now for those who didnt catch whats so hilarious about that, ill break it down for you: 1. Starters are voted in by the fans. ANY FANS. Any person, no matter how much knowledge they have on basketball, can vote. Hell, even girls (or guys) who have crushes on certain players can vote in someone to be a starter. In other words, the all star starters is all about POPULARITY. Real basketball fans know this. Thats why Kobe, who has only played 6 games this season, was voted in as a starter. 2. Reserves, are voted in by coaches. people with actual knowledge about the game of basketball. People that see first hand what players do and how they play on the court. If anything, many can argue being voted in as a reserve has much more credibility than being voted in by any ordinary fan. Im sure most of you guys know this already. But this certain someone clearly does not. I'm sorry dude, but i just could not let this one pass lol this was too funny. He wont even read this cause he's avoiding this thread along with the Nats thread cause apparently he destroyed you guys in there. But anyway, i thought it was funny so i shared.
  4. No he wont come in here. He private messaged me and said he owned you all and that you guys couldnt back anything up and all you did was talk trash.
  5. This was posted in the Russel Wilson vs Nick Foles thread.... This guy hates me
  6. John Wall an allstar. http://www.csnwashington.com/basketball-washington-wizards/talk/coaches-vote-john-wall-1st-all-star-game
  7. If it had to be between those two, id pick Klay Thompson. Okay so you say you like Parsons more, but harden is better. I can understand that, what I didnt understand was "Parsons>Harden" Those two statements contradict one another. Funniest thing about that: http://ftw.usatoday.com/2013/10/nba-cleveland-cavaliers-kyrie-irving-lebron-james/
  8. You're avoiding the question. You said Parsons > Harden. So if it comes down to Parsons and Harden, just say you would take Parsons. It's a hypothetical question for a reason. It's comparing the two, if you had to choose one to start your team, who would you have? Simple. I thought there was more than just one person who said they'd rather have Parsons lol thus the "you guys"
  9. House of Cards is about political corruption. Its a really good show, and season 2 comes out Feb 14, and by comes out i mean the entire season comes out. All on netflix
  10. Wait so you guys are telling me, if you had to pick one to start your team, youd pick parsons?
  11. Parsons is a really good player, but I dont think hes better the Harden at all. Harden is a potential superstar.
  12. Agree completely. The first round is pretty much a warm up for the top 2 seeds. But how awesome would it be if we were to knock one of them off lol
  13. As long as we dont make 7th or 8th seed, we could potentially advance to the second round
  14. LeBron averaged 31.4 PPG, 7 RPG, 6.6 APG.... in his 3rd season in the league. Cause that's all it takes to make a good PG right? Edit* John Wall: 42.3% FG, 32.5% 3PT, 84.1% FT Kyrie Irving: 42.7% FG, 36.7% 3PT, 84.1% FT Damien Lillard: 41.7% FG, 41.9% 3PT, 88.7% FT Yeah Kyrie is a much better shooter Wall: 20 ppg, 4.3 rpg, 8.5 apg, 1.9 steals, 3.6 TO Irving: 21.5 ppg, 3.0 rpg, 6.2 apg, 1.2 steals, 2.6 TO Lillard: 20.7 ppg, 3.6 rpg, 5.7 apg, 0.7 steals, 2.3 TO Hmmmmmmmm. And Lillard is playing with a FAR superior team. And he said Romo is one of his favorite players now lol Right? The dude is not even a starter now. I didnt even know he was benched until they played the celtics the other day. I thought maybe he was injured and wasnt playing until Jon Barry was commenting on the height of the starters for the Nets and mentioned "now that Deron Williams is coming off the bench" i was like . I cant believe how much he has regressed since his days with the Jazz, dude was arguably the best PG in the league, or at least on par with Chris Paul.
  15. Good game from Wall as far as the stat sheet goes, but some out of control drives to the lane. We are not destined to be over .500 i guess
  16. With that being said, if you look at the numbers, there stats are pretty similar to one another. While lebron is 'coasting'. Im not hating on Durant, he will be the best player in the world a few years down the road, but until then, it would be hard to argue that he's a better PLAYER then lebron.
  17. http://hangtime.blogs.nba.com/2014/01/22/durant-guns-down-blazers-with-46-special/?ls=iref:nbahpts "The guy is the best player in the world right now. What can you say about him?" -Batum
  18. Yeah I said I agree and already commented on Durant's big game. Durant's the best scorer, LeBron is the best player.
  19. Fair enough, I would have to agree. Its still pretty amazing that with all that said about him picking his spots and not chuckin it whenever he feels like it, he still manages to be 2nd in the league in scoring. Durant just put up 46 and beat portland. Dude is on a tear
  20. I don't understand what you are trying to say here. You said Lebron is better around the rim, which is usually dunks, lay ups and floaters etc. and then you say Durant can score all over the court. Majority of the court you would have to take jump shots, you don't take floaters and hook shots from the three point line. Thus, why I said he's a better shooter. That's not saying Durant can't take it in, but Lebron is much more polished, around the rim, like you said. Unless your saying Lebron can't shoot, which would have been true a few years ago.
