Its the stadium not the fans, take away those reflective half roofs and they wouldnt break 110

The main issue i have with Fed Ex is that sound does tend to go stright up and out.. BUT,, back in 05 or so I was at a MNF game vs Dallas and it was so loud that the sound in my ears just turned to loud static.. might have done some damage to my hearing that night. I've never been anywhere, big concerts included, that was that loud.

It can get loud at FedEx, but I'm with Bang, the sound goes up due to design. It's hard to maintain it throughout a game without assistance from an enclosure of some kind.
