i know I am late to the party on this one inally saw The Perks of Being a Wallflower. I thought it was great. I love when young actors kick ass and all three main people in this movie each nailed their role perfectly. I've been a big fan of Logan Lerman since 3:10 to Yuma and Meet Bill and he was excellent in this. Ezra Miller and Emma Watson were both fantastic as well
It was sad, sweet, beautiful and poetic. Probably my favorite movie about young people in high school. It currently has 85% critic and 90% user ratings on Rotten Tomatoes.
Based on the novel written by Stephen Chbosky, this is about 15-year-old Charlie (Logan Lerman), an endearing and naive outsider, coping with first love (Emma Watson), the suicide of his best friend, and his own mental illness while struggling to find a group of people with whom he belongs. The introvert freshman is taken under the wings of two seniors, Sam and Patrick, who welcome him to the real world.
