  1. We should trade our 2nd for 2 3rds this year. We should then trade our 4 thirds for 4 seconds next year. Next year we should trade our 4 seconds, since we always screw up in the second anyway, along with our first to move to move up in the first to get a good QB. Or, if no good QB's come out trade our 4 2nds for 2 first the following year and move up in the draft for that year to draft a good QB. If we can only turn the fact we cannot draft in the second round into an advantage we will win the Super Bowl.
  2. You all at the forum need to get on it. The first 3 days I came to this link it was great. It has gone downhill since then. NO big signings!!! You all need to work harder!!
  3. I found our guy: Dick Butkus, byname of Richard Marvin Butkus, He was exceptionally large for a linebacker (6 feet 3 inches [1.9 metres] and 245 pounds [111 kg]) and had a reputation for relentless pursuit and ferocious tackling. Butkus played both fullback and linebacker at Chicago Vocational High School. As a middle linebacker at the University of Illinois (2018–2020, he earned consensus All-America honours in 2019 and 2020, his senior season, when he also finished third in the voting for the Heisman Trophy (an exceptional result for a defensive player). We can probably get him with one of our third rounders
  4. Washington Football Team signs LB David Mayo, OL Tyler Larsen (riggosrag.com) Mayo played with the New York Giants the last two years and he averaged 75 tackles, one pass defense, and a forced fumble per 16 games with them. He started in 15 of the 27 games he appeared in and while he’s probably best as a top backup, he can serve as a spot starter if needed. MORE FROM RIGGO'S RAG Washington Football Team re-signs CB Danny Johnson for one year Breaking down Curtis Samuel’s fit with the Washington Football Team Washington Football Team signs former Panthers WR Curtis Samuel Washington Football Team re-signs RB Lamar Miller, OT David Sharpe Washington Football Team: Recapping the first two days on defense Mayo is just 27 years old, so he still may have some untapped potential. He played under Ron Rivera for four seasons after being drafted in the fifth round out of Texas State, so he should be familiar with Rivera’s system. Perhaps Jack Del Rio will get more out of him, but even if not, Mayo is a good and likely-cheap free-agent pickup at the linebacker spot. As for Larsen, he has spent the last five seasons with the Panthers as a backup on the interior offensive line. He was added just to continue to build up depth along that unit. Larsen is 6-foot-4, 325 pounds and has appeared in 68 games during his career. He hasn’t started since 2018, but he has proven to be a solid backup. Larsen will get a chance to push Keith Ismael for the backup center spot and will probably compete with Wes Martin for a roster spot. This isn’t a major signing, but it’s one that improves the team’s depth and adds an experienced player on the cheap. We’ll soon see what Mayo and Larsen can do, but each should have a chance to make the 53-man roster if all goes well. Mayo is probably the better bet to make the team, solely because he was a decent starter for the Giants in 2019 before being relegated to backup duty in 2020, but Washington probably isn’t investing too much in these guys.
  5. I am trying to find out more about that too. Thanks for bringing it up. Right now it looks like if we can get Slater or Darsaw in the first, lb, safety in second and third, te in third or fourth we are looking great

  8. So this forum is very lucky to have the “Jethro Bodine” draft expert on it. I got on this very scientific site and this is what I picked. For accuracy I even included a dog pick in the second round. See, if the Redskins use just a bit of the “Jethro Bodine” tactic of basing draft logic on common sense, we would kick ass. 9. I say 5 firsts for Watson and their 5 third rounder. We do better in the third round anyway.
