  1. 4 y u no love me I always wanted to be a comedian. You have broken my spirit and my dreams.
  2. And if the Cavs get the number 1 pick OVERALL from the Heat in 2015 since the Cavs have the Heats #1 pick in this next draft lmao Heat fans be like "Why is Bosh leaving we drafted him"
  3. lmao "Chris Bosh has not been this hurt since his mom got killed in the land before time"
  4. Ariza is worth 9 mil a year no more. And when you put in Nene and his terrible contract it just makes us have to pinch every penny that we can find. I hate that mans contract so damn much. Nenes contract is the reason that we are in this situation.
  5. BF says that Ariza is asking for 12 mil a year. Adios. The Wizards also won't have any money even if Ariza does not sign. The reason that they could pay him that much is because of the Bird rights. If Ariza was to leave then you don't get to spend that money anywhere. It's either sign Ariza Or Don't sign Ariza and get a full MLE which I think is 5 mil or so to spend Or S&T Ariza
  6. The Wizards being possibly the 2nd best team in the East next season is pathetic. But i'll take it
  7. If Ariza gets inked to anything longer than 3 you can pretty much call a Otto trade
  8. Kobe is not even as good as Drexler Sadly he had to play during the good MJ era. Drexler played 2 less seasons than Kobe did and the only thing Kobe has on him is points. Drexler still has more rebounds than Kobe, more assists than Kobe more blocks than Kobe more steals than Kobe. Drexler has 9000 less points than Kobe but Kobe has taken about 9000 (7000 more 2s and 2000 more 3s) more shots than Drexler did. Drexler has a better FG%. Kobe has 150 more games played than Drex and still tails him in all other categories but points. Kobe is a top 10 player of all time and is also top 5 at his position but we live in a world where advertising rules all. When you get athletes posted everywhere on tv and magazines and social media everyone thinks that player was the best because well they saw that player on tv more than the other. My personal opinion is that the only player better than Drexler was MJ and Drexler is the clear cut 2nd best G of all time. I also think that he is a top 5 player of all time. He was just shadowed by MJ and he never really had any legit help till he was with the Rockets.
  9. NSFW pic has a nsfw word in it but sums up most peoples feelings quite nicely. https://pbs.twimg.com/media/BorC2SKCIAEEE4_.jpg
  10. I just want to know why the Lottery can not be done live what were or are the reasons against it being a live event? I don't see how doing it in a dark room is more beneficial? Are they worried that it would not be as exciting or something? They do lotto ball drawings on TV and not in a dark room so there are obviously other options than what the NBA has in place.
  11. I saw this today in another forum and I thought it makes sense and I am also somewhat skeptical of how things turn out. "Since 1990, when the NBA draft lottery went to the weighted average ball system that theoretically gave the team with the worst record the best chance, there have been some strange and certainly questionable results. In the period from 1990 to the most recently completed lottery, there have been 23 draft lotteries determined. In that time, the team with the worst record (top seed for the lottery) has won the draft lottery 3 times (1990, 2003, 2004). The reason this seems suspicious is that during that same time period a team with the 8th seed or lower has won the draft lottery three times as well (1993, 2008, 2011). The three teams in those three years? Orlando in 1993 with 1 chance in 66 (1.5%), Chicago in 2008 with 17 chances out of 1000 (1.7%) and the LA Clippers in 2011 with 28 chances out of 1000 (2.8%). What makes these results interesting is that in 2008 there was much conjecture about the Bulls floundering franchise, and they suddenly defy the odds mightily to win the draft for hometown sensation Derrick Rose who immediately begins to turn the fortunes of the Bulls. Then in 2011, the Clippers pick actually belonged to the Cavaliers as a result of an earlier trade, and thus the Cavaliers win the lottery the same year Lebron leaves for the Heat. Very convenient. In fact, if you combine the chances of the three eighth place or lower winners, there was a 2.2% chance of those three lotteries falling the way they did, while the top seeded teams in those same lotteries had a 24.7% chance of things falling their way. That is a ten-fold difference in probability, yet the lower seeded team defied the odds all three times. Another interesting point to the lottery results over the last 23 years is that the 5th seed or lower has won the lottery 11 times in 23 draft lotteries. That is almost half of the contested lotteries. The top three seeds in the lottery have only won it 12 times (interestingly enough, no fourth seed has won it since the weighted ball system went into effect). So the top three teams in the lottery over the last 23 years (who had much better mathematical chances to win than the seeds below them) have only won the lottery ONE more time than teams that were 5th seeded or lower going in, and there have been as many winners from the 8th seed or lower as there have from the top seed in the same time period. I’m no mathematician, and I don’t play one on television, but those results seem awfully fishy to me. Based on the odds of the 8th seed or lower teams that won, there should have been no more than one winner from seeds that low or lower in 23 tries (23 x 2.2% works out to 0.5, or not even one win). Yet there have been 3 wins from such seeds, and the 5th seed or lower has won only one less time than the top three seeds. Those numbers seem to defy the odds of random chance that the draft lottery ostensibly uses to determine the winner. The NBA draft lottery has come under scrutiny for its past results, and frankly such scrutiny is warranted based on these numbers. I think it would be very interesting for a qualified mathematician to take all the data for all of the contested lotteries from 1990 through the most recent one and work up an algorithm to determine what the overall odds were that all of the lotteries would fall exactly the way they did. I mean one set of odds to cover the results of all 23 years. I’m willing to bet the number would be astronomical. I’ve said before that the draft lottery is rigged, and after reviewing these numbers I see nothing to dissuade me from that belief. The NBA claims it isn’t rigged, yet no one can see the actual process real- time when the winner is determined. If the lottery is on the up and up, why all the secrecy? Let everyone see the results as they happen, and this way there’s no chance the thing is rigged. The lottery is a joke and they need to go back to the way every other sports league in America does things and give the worst team the first pick. Considering that the NBA already has credibility problems with their officiating and their seeming preferential treatment of superstars, this draft lottery system and the amazing odds-defying performances that it keeps yielding do nothing to bolster that credibility at all."
  12. I want them to go back the the Bullets but it will never happen. I hated that stupid Wizards logo so much and getting rid of it and going back to the old jerseys is so much better.
  13. I strongly suggest that fellow Wizards fans or fans who just hopped on this season and are interested in possibly following the Wizards again next season to look at the 2nd best site in the world behind Extremeskins http://www.bulletsforever.com/ By far the best Wizards site. It has a lot of members and you get a lot of good breakdowns from solid writers and intelligent board members. Okay, now I learned that NY can offer Melo 5 years 129 mil and no other team can come in within 30 mil of that So I know Melo says he wants to win and has stated this season he doesn't care about the money but 30 mil is a lot of money so idk if Melo will go anywhere this year. I really think that the Amnesty Miami used this season points to them blowing up the team after this season which means that Bosh could be on the Market. I think Bosh is someone that the Wizards could realistically have a shot at landing. I also think that Bosh has another 3-4 years left of All star play which is perfect for a 3 or 4 year deal. I also think that Bosh on a team without LBJ can go back to his Toronto form and be a 20/10 guy. He fits well with what the Wiz have in place. He is a stretch 4 that can knock down the 3 and a nice perimeter game. He also has the ability to score in the paint. He really stepped up defensively this year and improved in that area. I think that he would be a good fit. Once again idk how you get any of these players with Nene on the books unless you move him. IF the Wiz moved Nene I think they would have enough money for Bosh and would be able to keep either Gortat or Ariza. To get Monroe we would likely have to pay him 4/56 which has the potential for disaster. Monroe would be a boom or bust. He is only 23 and he averaged 15/9. Big men usually reach their prime later rather than earlier so he could have a lot of room to grow. If Monroe became what most execs think he has the potential to become we are talking about the "potential" to be the best big in the league. The problem is that Monroe plays really very bad cant quite stress it enough badly poor craptacular defence. He does not give his best effort, his lateral movement is piss poor and his instincts are slow he rotates to his assignments very slowly. But then again he is only 23 so there is a long time for him to improve. Also in Detroit he was playing in the 4. If he got moved back to Center which is his true position that could also impact his defence maybe he plays better defense at center compared to PF. Also Detroits front court was just so damn big everything was clogged in the paint with Drum and Smith so maybe that also played a part in his ability to grab more than 9 boards and to play better D. Other notable quality players this offseason include Z bo, David West, Taj Gibson , Jeff Green, Monroe and even tho the Wizards don't need him Kyle Lowry will make a potential big splash. Lowry is a top 8 PG for sure.
  14. Everyone on the team was making poor choices late in games and thats why I think we need another scorer or clutch player. So many times where Beal or Wall took a 3 and missed late in the game on a fast break or in a Indiana defensive breakdown, when there was a clear path right to the basket for an easy lay up they passed on almost a guaranteed 2 points for a lower percentage J. When they had the lead and they were just jacking up shots with 18 secs still on the shot clock late in games. Ariza trying to create his own shot and missing or turning the ball over. Ariza can not create his own shots that his biggest weakness and he was trying to do it with the game on the line. Wall getting in the air at the basket already at the rim for a easy 2 and he kicks it out for a missed 3. Wall expecting foul calls when he was not getting any the entire game and when he was getting touched he would just throw the ball up expecting a foul but no whistle. Easy turn over for IND. Nene missing layups Gortat missing layups and hook shots and traveling Wizards with an improved bench and the same roster can push for 50 wins. But would not get any further in the playoffs. They need another person who can score and who is clutch or just hope Beal takes 3 steps and becomes that player next year. It doesn't have to be Bosh or Melo. Those pieces would be nice but it could be something like adding a Nate Robinson or Z Bo
  15. I think that if Beal can take another step next year and become maybe a 22-25 ppg player than we can focus on our bench and leave our starting lineup as it is. Personally I think that Beal is another 2 years away from being that player. In that case we need to bring in another 18-20 ppg player. Wall is a floor general and Beal might be another 2 years away from being that threat. Wizards need another person that can score and is not afraid to shoot when the game is on the line. They need another person who can create their own shot. Idk where they would get that player or even if they could do it with the cap space but thats what they need. Upgrading the bench only might net us more wins in the reg season but I don't think it would do anything in the post season which is what the Wiz should focus on. The Wiz got solid production out of the bench in the 2nd round. The Wiz lost because Wall isn't a shooter and Beal was streaky and went cold at times. Ariza can't create his own shot. Nene went cold after Chicago and you can't put everything on Gortat. If the Wiz had another player that could score and take the weight off Beal and John I think we would be a contender to be in the East Finals.
  16. Love I think is a top 3 in PER. He can knock down the 3 and he can bang in the paint and he grabs rebounds like crazy. I think the man is a superstar for sure. Minnesota had 40 wins this season in the West and it was mostly because of Love. I don't think KD could get 50 wins by himself in the West. If you take out West and ibaka and put in the average player I think that he would struggle to get to 50 wins. LBJ was able to get 50 win seasons in Cle by himself but the East was not that strong. Love has to get double teamed and still puts up crazy numbers. If he was playing with another star it would be scary. You can't double team him and leave another person who would normally command a double team open. Or do it the other way around and leave love with only 1 person on him. Love sucks people into the paint give him a legit player who can score from the perimeter and you got a problem. If Loves numbers do not go up on a better team then whoever he is playing with their numbers would surely increase. Maybe I got two excited maybe he isnt up there at the very top but he is for sure one notch below them and a good notch above the other stars in the league. I think Love would be committed to a team if they were winning. Yea that is a crappy attitude to have but 6 seasons of not being to the playoffs I think a lot of people would be upset.
  17. Love is in the LBJ KD category on an actual team that has a respectable market with decent players around him 26 and 12 in Minnesota. Imagine him with one of the teams that are interested in him with Steph and Klay or Harden and Dwight
  18. Idk about rushing to sign Gortat and Ariza. It will eat up all of our cap and we won't be able to add any new players. I would love to keep Gortat and Ariza if there was a way to get rid of Nene. Nene makes way too much money. You can bank on him to miss 20 games a season and he only averages what 14 and 6? For 13.5 mil a year you can get more bang for your buck than that. Problem is no one wants to take nene off our hands because of that contract. If we can't move Nene only keep Gortat. If we can move Nene then keep Gortat and Ariza. We need someone who is clutch and a scorer. Wall is a floor general. He is not the one you want taking shots when you're down with only minutes left. Beal will become that player but he is still 2-3 years away from being that player. Hopefully by the end of next year Beal averages 23 ppg. In the meantime we need someone else who can average 20 ppg and is a shooter.
  19. Porter played very poorly the first 10 games or so that he got in. He started to be productive late in the season but not productive enough to take anyones minutes. I suspect he will get a lot more PT next year. Earlier in the year bust was written all over him
  20. Is it rare to get a bad bottle? I got a 6 pack of Fat Tire which is one of my favorites and the 4th one just tasted like absolute ass. Could not even drink it.
