Well, my final prediction is a sad one: I don’t think the Cowboys game will matter. As a gambler I can’t get past the obvious signs. Browns have to be the play. And it’s going to be hard for them to cover and NOT win (unless we win by exactly one point). I think Watson will have his best game so far and the game will stay uncomfortably close late into 4th. I’ll say he gets his first “moment” and Browns win 23-20. I am also predicting wins from the Lions and Bears, which would eliminate us before week 18– although I do think Vikings have a better chance to win that majority seem to think. I think they are a good bet at +3.5.

Good news is that public sometimes wins too- I am hoping the “Joe Blow” bets come though on our game and we get it done. But following the system, Browns are the play.

That line has been making my skin crawl all week. Everything is pointing towards bad news Sunday.

Hope they can get up early and break Cleveland’s spirit. But man, you look at that CLE team and they have a ton of talent. Probably more than we do. They’re honestly the 3rd most disappointing team this year behind LAR and DEN.

Camouflage an incredibly limited QB the majority of the time.

I actually liked the addition of the RO, but that’s clearly not something Taylor has a great feel for.  That needs to be removed from the playbook.

I didn’t hate every Samuel run but two specifically were like WTF and Why.

He’s never coordinated even an average NFL offense. Every year, they’re near last in traditional and advanced stats. Every year. No matter the QB. Meanwhile, I’ve seen Brock Purdy, Geno Smith, Jacoby Brisset, Mike White, and Cooper Rush somehow be competent starters and score points.

So again. What does Turner do well?

We held them to 288 yards and 13 offensive points--and 97 came on 1 drive. Sacks or not that's going to win you 98% of games with a half way competitive offense that isn't being hamstrung by horrendous calls.

Any type of defensive TD drastically changes win probability. It’s been studied

We made zero big plays. That’s why long methodical drives only get you but so far in this league

Bro, you are going to bat for this ****ty officiating crew. Why?! Are you related to them? I can’t figure it out.

yeah, we could have been better. But we aren’t better. The giants weren’t great either. The only difference between this game and the last game is that the refs made several horrible key calls against us.

They got a ****ing sack fumble 6.

we barely even touched Jones. That’s the difference. They made plays and we made zero

Keim reported literally today that the coaches didn’t think he looked like himself yet, but they’ve seen more flashes of it in recent weeks which is why they think he’s close. I don’t think it’s that complicated or anything dramatic.

And they feel that way bc he’s hesitating bc he can’t simulate a game in practice. That’s what Keim said on his pod.

    So he needs to play.

Honestly I think the coaches are cool with him sitting bc he freelances so much. They’ve essentially said as much a few times

Heard from where? There’s been plenty of well-sourced reports that explain what’s going on. The training staff doesn’t think he’s ready, and what he had was more than just a “simple” ACL tear. The staff activated him so they could actually see him on the field (yes, even on the side field), because they can’t when he’s stuck on IR. That’s the only way they could measure his continued progress.

From what is being said, the issue is him feeling comfortable. They’d play him if he felt he was ready

  7. The way they handle injuries is so weird. They immediately fed info to the local reporters that Holcomb and now BSJ’s injuries weren’t that bad. Both went on to be out indefinitely.

They create controversy. They did it last year by acting like Curtis Samuel’s surgery was a deep dark Vatican level secret

Would have been nice to have some extra calvary to tip the scales in our favor.

Are the Giants missing any major players?

Their best CB and safety has been out for weeks now

There are precious few games left for this team to play this year.  Let's be super honest: in all likelihood - aside from some fluky Philadelphia type turnover game - this is gonna be another 1 and done playoff appearance team.   There's just nothing at all that Chase can add to this team this year.

Shut him down, let him work his butt off to prove he's not some 2nd pick bust, and come out next year to show everyone.  Shut him down and allow the young man the best chance of shutting up all the naysayers next year.

Only thing is that I think it’s going to take a few games to get up to actual game speed. So I’d think you’d rather do that now than wait until week 1 next year. If he’s ineffective these last few games, he’s protected bc the focus will be on the results and not his play.

  9. Jon Allen is 32-53 as a pro. He wouldn’t know winning professionally if it slapped his girlfriend in his face. So he can save the corny ****. Zero tolerance. Be humble and deferential to the fans at all times when you play for a dog **** franchise and always have

Didn't Ron also say at the end of last season "Everything we need is in this room" Now we all know, they definitely still needed a QB, but still, the things Rivera is saying right now after a 1-3 start seem to be a stark contrast to how he felt about the roster at the end of 2021.

Yes. He’s clearly full of ****. NFL coaches are allowed to do that…until they start losing. He’s long since lost that privilege
