5 years ago today, Gil dropped 60 on the Lakers in LA...My high point as a Wiz fan (damn, that is a sad confession)

And hell yeah they are my team...I remember being 7-8 and going to a barely full MCI Center with my stepdad and cheering for Popeye Jones and Calvin Booth and Chris Whitney. Those teams sucked ass but those were some of the best moments of my young life so yes, they are my team and a big part of my life.

How the hell can anything I said be labeled as "homerism"? Caron Butler was a good player for MY (YES "MY" DAMMIT) team. I never said he was top 50 all time or anything...I just wont ever get why other fans come on other teams boards especially when there is NO rivalry between the teams...that's weird man

I always love when opposing team fans try to tell YOU about YOUR team and its players...that is always comical. Caron Butler was the heart and soul of this team for the best years I can remember as a Wiz fan. He may not have brought a title but I'll remember him for making it okay to be a Wiz fan at my school...
