  1. Ever considered changing teams then.......haha
  2. 10 from 11without Suarez ? There must be the odd draw in there somewhere........ Lambert will probably provide the double digit goals as the experienced back-up. And I think you're right, life without Suarez will dictate a more defensive approach, as the stats with Suarez out show a more successful Liverpool team but one that creates far less but also gives away far less. That's a difficult balance to judge as a manager and as a supporter. I think Liverpool fans want and expect to be entertained.
  3. Oh not another Kelly with knackered knees.....
  4. Need another English player for their quota numbers...plus he'll do a decent job to be fair.
  5. Frank Lampard heading to Man Citeh for a few months too by the looks of things...
  6. That's one way to waste all that Fellaini money from last year. This years transfer market is out of control.
  7. Well I hope he gets sold ...but some players are irreplaceable in certain situations, I think Suarez at Liverpool is one of them. He's not bigger than the club, and I agree that type of deal would be hard to turn down. But you've blew it this year & without him you'll be buried back in the pack for the foreseeable imo.
  8. I disagree here GHH. That's not a step forward at all. That amount of money or re-investment will not get anywhere near to replacing what Suarez brings to Liverpool. Exactly like the Gareth Bale situation.
  9. Yeah that's the one. Platt and Italia '90, hadn't realised he was player of the year that season.
  10. Pretty sure they said that on MOTD last night. But I was drunk at the time haha... Also said the the last time UTD finished outside the top 6 Liverpool won the league..sound about right ?
  11. Moyes is history. The guy's out of his depth. Fergie has stitched his mate up big time, left him holding the baby with no hope in hell of succeeding this year. Then Moyes basically cracks under the pressure...51 games and a different starting 11 each time..wow.
  12. yeah...on that note time to head back to the stadium..
  13. Yeah, quality keeper so far. But I guess we are getting promoted so it wont matter...........
  14. GHH, I think you're tracking our keeper Karl Darlow. Could see a move in the summer if Forest don't get promoted.
  15. 10 games seems fair enough to me. Repeat offender in the unusual fetish of biting fellow footballers. Liverpool should make a stance and dump the guy. World class player dragging the Liverpool name through the dirt, imo.
  16. The board may have to accept some financial loss and ship him out on the cheap. His first ban for biting was 7 games in Holland. This one would have to be for more than that. Probably does him for the first month / month and a half of next season given the FA want his head on a stick already. Your season's usually over by October so what the point of keeping him........... :movefast:
  17. Could be his last game for Liverpool, imo. Banned for the rest of the season then shipped out in the summer. Great player but yeah, total knob.
  18. Wow..Luis Suarez appearing to bite Ivanovic. Thats not going to end well.
  19. Nah, its all a wash. Outside of a handful of teams, its mediocrity all over the place. Thats not a bad thing, imo. Now thats funny
  20. It was - linesman only gave it after 2 or 3 Everton players appealed. That being said, Suarez should have been sent off earlier. Cheap shot, raking down Distans achilles. I hate those kind of challenges.
  21. The timing of this Liverpool / Utd game is something else.....Utd fans pulled for chanting at yesterdays home game against Wigan. Plus, Liverpool are in serious need of a win..should be interesting to see if they are able to play up to the occasion.
  22. That league really is wide open this year. You could have upwards of 12 teams very capable of finishing in the top couple of positions.
  23. I'd consider 68k a decent turnout, all things considered.
  24. Jack Wilshere is pretty much the only guy with the potential to be 'great' from the current crop of players. England need him to be fit in a hurry. Cleverly is a quality player, who again needs to stay fit. Henderson, pass on that, his career is going to go on hold at Liverpool I think. Same probably applies to Rodwell once he gets confined to the Man City bench... There are plenty of options on either wing position. The problem we have is that the current manager is not going to revolutionise the English game. We'll breeze through the qualifiers before being embarrassed on the big stage......again.
