He's been a real pleasant surprise.
I honestly didn't have much hopes outside of him being a squad player when he arrived, but he's been terrific. He looks to be the perfect reppacement (as 'perfect' as filling a World class all time legend can be) for Gerrard. Strong and fearless in the tackle. Boundless energy to get up and down the park. Great shot on him. Good passer of the football. And growing into more and more of a leader the more games he plays. His versatility is a great plus too as he gets more of a defensive appreciation currently playing back there. His only real weakness is in the air.
He won't supply the goals Stevie consistently has, but he'll fill the dominant midfield role perfectly.
Best box-to-box midfielder we have. Everything the mediocre Henderson isn't.
Hail.
Good observations. I think you could be right about replacing the midfield presence. However, who the hell is gonna take FK's for you guys??

I think that at 92, perhaps it is time this gentleman gave up driving.
I counted 6 cars he crashed into? Not 9 as the video title states. Maybe he crashed into 3 more off-camera?

That's a shame, Chelski has 2. I'm just wondering how fans can root for mercenaries teams ? I blame Bosman for this.
The evil empire is developing the training center for local youth talent after they failed to keep Kingsley Coman. The budget is €9 millions, they had 5 scouts last year, this year they have 21. Now it remains to be seen how many of them will make the team vs the big splashy mercenaries.
Fans can root for mercenary teams when they're not actually from that country. I'm kind of the opposite, though. I root for English players being in the top EPL sides. I like the fact that Arsenal have a pretty strong British core in their squad rotation.

Almost ! I guess history might repeats itself, PSG should have beaten Chelsea like last year, but ....
Blanc's days are numbered, the evil empire is setting its sights on Diego Simeone.
Al Khelaifi tried to sign Reus but his agent rebuffed him.
PSG's squad is set up looked like a top EPL team yesterday.
One domestic national in the starting 11.

That should do it. Can't see Preston getting an EQ at this point.

Didnt have much to do anyway
Therein laid the problem. Be curious to see if AW puts him out there against Palace this weekend to give Per some extra rest before the Monaco game mid-week.

And, how could I forget? Here it is in all of its glory: Cantore's Thundersnow Extravaganza.

Lol
Did you catch the game? What did you think of Gabriel? I thought he did pretty well. Showed a bit of passing ability, which was a pleasant surprise.

Not sure if these have been posted here or elsewhere before...but dammit this is hilarious.

He's giving himself some buffer time so he can come in here and get back behind the "BR Revolution" after ending every ES Soccer Thread post with "RODGERS OUT!" for 3 months, in the hopes that we'll all forget his reckless change of stance.

I'm sorry but we're playing like absolute dog **** and I hate that we've decided to put a performance like this in against this team in particular.
