  3. With the 67th pick in the 2024 NFL Draft the Washington Commanders select Christian Haynes 6'3 320 lbs.. OG Connecticut Emerging from a modest two-star recruitment in 2018, Christian Haynes has defied expectations, becoming a linchpin for Connecticut's offensive line with an impressive 49 consecutive starts at right guard. Over his collegiate career, Haynes distinguished himself not just through durability but also with back-to-back third-team All-American honors in his junior and senior years, underscoring his impact in a balanced run-pass offExhibits elite timing, feel, and processing abilities, enhancing his performance across all aspects of his game. Demonstrates formidable technique in run-blocking, effectively uprooting first-level defenders and smoothly transitioning to the second level. Exceptional in wide zone blocking, his athleticism and technique allow him to effectively engage and neutralize linebackers and backside defenders. Strong finisher, showcasing a relentless pursuit to engage through the entirety of plays, epitomizing a combative spirit. Reliable in pass protection with a solid anchor, reactive feet, and hands, adept at diagnosing and neutralizing pass rush attempts. Handles line stunts and adjacent rushers with a discerning, physical presence, ensuring pocket integrity. His college system's emphasis on a zone-based run scheme with duo and power concepts has honed his adaptability and skill execution across various blocking schemes. Despite physical measurements that might suggest otherwise, his agility and intelligent play make him an immediate impact starter and versatile interior line prospect Christian Haynes has proven himself as a durable and dependable guard throughout his time at UConn, showcasing a blend of technical skill and football IQ that sets him apart. His ability to consistently start and perform at a high level, even against the backdrop of a challenging collegiate program, speaks volumes about his readiness for the NFL. With solid pass protection skills and a knack for run blocking, Haynes' transition to professional football looks promising, especially for teams emphasizing a zone-blocking scheme. Despite some concerns regarding his quickness and versatility against the diverse and dynamic defensive fronts in the NFL, Haynes' foundational skills and mental sharpness suggest he can adapt and overcome. Looking ahead, Haynes is positioned to make an early impact in the NFL. His work ethic, demonstrated by his consecutive starts and all-American honors, underlines his commitment to improvement and consistency. While further development will be needed Haynes' collegiate career provides a solid foundation for his potential success at the pro level. @KillBill26 and the bucs on the clock.. @KDawg and the chargers @gooseneck and the giants @goskins10 and the cardinals @Skinsinparadise and the jets @Ball Security and the lions @goskins10 and the falcons @clskinsfan and the bears @KillBill26 and the broncos @Chump Bailey and the raiders @COWBOY-KILLA- and the commanders
  4. With the 64th pick of the 2024 NFL Draft the Kansas City Chiefs select: Malachi Corley 5'11 215lbs WR Western Kentucky NFL Comparison Deebo Samuel Overview Corley is a big, physical wideout who has been asked to carry a heavy workload for Western Kentucky using his talent after the catch. Corley’s highlight reel will be full of broken tackles and general carnage left in his wake. He’s an average route-runner with the tools to improve, but a disappointing drop rate and contested-catch rate are concerns relative to the way he plays the game in space. Like Brandon Aiyuk or Deebo Samuel when they were prospects, Corley has had a heavy percentage of his targets schemed around him and he will need to prove he can become more than just a quick-game bully or gadget guy. He’s good at what his team asked him to do, which is a great jump-off point for evaluators considering him as a Day 2 selection and future starter. Strengths Sturdy build allows him to take on play aggression and a heavy workload. Runs routes with leverage and effective head nods to manipulate coverage. Has late, twitchy hands to snatch throws suddenly. Flexible torso allows for full rotation to pull throws off his back hip. Creates chunk plays through vision and cutbacks after the catch. Truck-stick power to break tackles and punish perimeter defenders. Weaknesses Has a tendency to struggle with contested catches despite being a tough player. Allows defenders to play through him and disturb his catch space. Needs to become a more stationary target when squatting in zones. Average route runner who loses momentum coming out of breaks. Lacking desired ball skills to win the 50/50 balls downfield. Sources Tell Us “Teams will see him as a perimeter running back since he basically had so many lateral handoffs in their passing game, but I think he can be more than that if you ask him to do more.” - NFC national scout @Gallen5862 and the Panthers on the clock @goskins10 and the Cardinals @COWBOY-KILLA- and the commanders @KillBill26 and the bucs @KDawg and the chargers @gooseneck and the giants @goskins10 and the cardinals @Skinsinparadise and the jets @Ball Security and the lions Beginning of the 3rd Round!!

  9. Find the OT's that you feel can become great that will still be available with picks 40, 67, 78, and 100 even if they may take a little more time. I just wouldn't rush it and give up too much capital is all, Because the truth is that player isn't a certainty in any way either. But don't get me wrong, if they feel strong enough about someone and go do it, I'd be all for it. I just get the sense they won't be forcing anything with the draft. I'd imagine they will be measured, patient, and calculated. I'm loving how the FO is approaching things. We'll see how they do, that calculus is being done as we speak.....I'm excited they will have it figured out....
  10. I lean towards keeping all our picks and potentially adding on with a trade back or two. Unless we could get back into the first at super value, I'd rather take more stabs at getting the OL right by leaning on our scouts and GM.
  11. ok dang, everyone check your dm's, lol.... Yeah, this happened earlier with his first pick, sending them to the wrong user.. .Hoping all is well and he's not gone too long..

  21. With the 40th pick of the 2024 NFL Draft the Washington Commanders select Kingsley Suamataia OT BYU 6'6 325lbs Rating: 86.87 (High-level starter) Pro Comparison: Rasheed Walker Summary Kingsley Suamataia has a compact NFL OT build with great length. Plus athleticism but not super light-footed. Kick slide is good and fast, flashed lateral sliding ability and is reasonably comfortable in space on screens and pitches. Can be stretched to the limit athletically by explosive, bendy rushers. Would like to see better, more reliable grip strength. Otherwise his hand work is noticeably good. Constantly resetting his hands to control rushers. One-time punches. If they miss, it's because they're late. His frame and athleticism suggest he'd be a menace in the run game, but that's not the case. He slips out of many blocks and isn't a road-grader. Doesn't always set a firm edge. Anchor is mostly good but could use more weight in his lower half. Further ahead in pass pro than as a run-blocker. Suamataia has some athletic limitations, but this is a solid albeit unspectacular OT prospect. About 2023: Second-team All-Big 12 Career: 2 sacks allowed on 705 pass-blocking snaps (both vs Texas) Strengths Comfortable in space on screens and combos for the run game NFL OT size, girth, and length Constantly resetting hands to control blocks Weaknesses Not super sluggish but stretched to the limit athletically more often than what's desired Grip strength isn't there yet Combine Data 40-yard dash: 5.04 seconds Bench press: 31 reps Vertical jump: 28 inches Broad jump: 9 feet, 2 inches @PokerPacker and the Pack on the clock @Epochalypse and the Texans soon @goskins10 and the Falcons soon @Chump Bailey and the Raiders soon @Skinsinparadise and the Saints soon

  23. Ok guys...As was brought to my attention the idea of suspending the draft for the Easter Holiday for those that would like to suspend it, there would be no clock and no loss of pick. If you'd like to continue you can and we will keep accepting and posting the picks as they come in. We would restart the draft and thereby the clock at 8am Monday. For those that have their picks and would like to continue picking please feel free, without a clock. I will be around either way. If you'd like to send your picks to me in a list also please feel free to do so. If we can make the pick we will. Happy Easter!
