  1. I had it 4-1 Cruz. A great card tonight. 'Very good fights.

Yeah, I agree 49-46 for Cruz. It was one of the better PPVs I've seen in a while.

Nice to see they had time to sneak in Melvin's fight between fights where people that missed it could see it.

yea very good card tonight including the prelims. still kinda bummed about wand getting ko'd that quick though.

Yeah, it's unfortunate to see Silva get the quick beat down.

I think he may want to consider hanging it up honestly. He's been on a steady decline for the most part the past 5 years and with his style it's just not going to rebound for him. One of the all time greats though.

  2. Copied and pasted from bloodyelbow.com

    Ariel Helwani tweets:

" Here's what Greg Sirb, the executive director of the PA commission, said regarding Nate Marquardt:

Nate failed the medical requirements for the fight and was put on suspension by the PA athletic commission until he provides a medical ...

report showing that he's satisfied those requirements. He was given every opportunity to meet the requirements ...

... up until Saturday at 3 pm. The Athletic commission is not free to disclose what requirements he failed to meet.

The suspension is indefinite. As soon as Marquardt can provide what they are looking for, he will not be suspended anymore. ...

Of course, I tried to ask multiple times why he failed the test, but Sirb said that was all he was going to discuss and the rest is up to NM

    "

  3. I think Overeem would beat Brock easily

Out of all the UFC HWs for him to face, Brock would be the most interesting matchup to me. I might favor Overeem a little for the big punch factor, but Lesnar has the size to keep him on the ground if it got there.

Overeem looked so so slow in that fight and I think Velasquez or JDS would just pick him apart with speed easily.
