Why is BJ throwing with him? Tie him up...damn...
-
Yeah, BJ got tore up the last two mights of that. Second round is definitely for Diaz...
I have it 1-1.
-
I think you could safely say Penn won the first round.
-
Every time I see BJ fight, I'm always surprised how fluid he looks, he just doesn't look like the type of guy that would move like that.
-
Tony Weeks is judging this, always remember him as a boxing ref. Interesting..
-
I'm rooting against Diaz, just always viewed him as a douche after that brawl at Strikeforce Nashville. Cheap shotting a guy on the ground in the spine with a bunch of people jumping on him...
-
What the hell, who scored it 30-27?
---------- Post added October-29th-2011 at 11:05 PM ----------
I'm fine with a 10-10 first and a 10-9 third, but how do you give the second to him? That's silly.
-
2-1 for meathead, but who knows how the first round went for the judges.
Boring, doesn't really make a good case for a title shot for either of these guys.
-
What about Frank the Wank?
He fights big nog at 140...so if he wins that I guess he would be there too for the Lesnar/Overeem winner. I'm just tired of Mir...hah
-
I guess that's 10-9 for meathead...but that was one boring round.
(I just say meathead because he controlled the center...not because he did much else)
-
I wouldn't put him at no. 1 either, but he's right there for a title shot. Perhaps he faces the winner of Overeem/Lesnar for a title shot?
Yeah, that is what popped into my head, he gets the winner of that fight. Seems pretty logical.
-
So if Mitrione wins this fight, anyone else feel that his name has to be considered for a title shot?
I'm not sure if he would be the #1 contender, but he might be one more win away from getting a shot.
-
Yeah, Mirko should just hang it up. He had a great career, you don't want to be one of those guys that everyone points out hung around too long.
Also, I just remembered that Meathead hasn't lost yet, interesting...
-
lol @ Roy Nelson.
Calling out for a title shot after you just lost to JDS and Frank Mir, not really reasonable.
-
A more-in-shape Roy Nelson?
What he lost in body fat he gained in facial hair.

I'm pretty sure Rashad Evans will give him way more problems. I wouldn't go as far as saying he'll beat him, because of his absurd range.
Rampage is just one dimensional, keep him outside and use the range to tag him to death and wear him down.
-
Jones is a bit of a douche, between the "my hand! I can't fight!" and having Rashad take another fight then saying "Oh nevermind! I'm ready!" and then the way he acted at the end of round 3.
-
Anyone who fights Jones is going to be handicapped because of his massive reach advantage.
C'mon Rampage!
-
In the end, who cares how it ended? It's still the same situation that Floyd looks like a punk dodging the one fighter that can beat him. I'm not saying it as a slight to his skill, he's the second best fighter in the world...but if you run from the one guy better than you, you don't really deserve respect.
Just like he refused to show up to court and defend himself after he talked **** about Manny using and got sued....so he hides from that too.

Somewhere right now Ken Shamrock is cheering.

Wow, Belfort...wow...

Dana White tweet : "WTF!!!! Fighting in that will be illegal after tonight! Anyone want to grapple with hallman?"

Worst. Stoppage. Ever.
Or at least of Herb Dean's career. Wtf was he seeing? If he was going to stop that, why not stop when Fedor was pounding Hendo out?
I'm pissed about the ref stoppage, especially considering Fedor's last two fights. He took more punishment from Bigfoot. I think the fan's reactions in the stadium said it all.
Ugh. Makes me hate Herb Dean. I used to think he was one of the best but he ****ed this one up. Fedor needs to fight again.
.
I don't think it should have been stopped, but to be fair....Fedor never got close to hurting Hendo. When he (Hendo) went down it was more of a trip/momentum fall and not because of a landed shot. The uppercut from Hendo made Fedor go limp but he recovered almost instantly after and began to defend. While I don't like the stoppage you can't really say it was a bad move by Herb Dean, they're trained to jump instantly when someone goes limp and he did.

Actually, re-watching it....it was the correct move to stop it.
Proof he was out. (Also proof Hendo clubbed him in the back of the head multiple times...hah)

Yeah, hell of a fight. Diaz will win the decision.
