  1. Chuck...way to wild and aggressive...cost him like usual lately.
  2. rofl..."I hope Mr. White wont be stingy...."
  3. lol Rogan..."I think Yves is gonna wait for them to bring a hearse in before he calls a stop again"
  4. Yeah, that's true...never know what to expect with these judges.
  5. Yeah I agree, the kid won the first 2 rounds, and while he was getting his ass kicked in the 3rd, he only had 8 seconds to go and he wasn't totally defenseless at that point. So far tonight I've seen some of the worst calls by refs in a long time. edit: changed remotely to totally...since he was getting pounded on hard.
  6. I take back what I said, bad picks sir! bad picks!
  7. lol @ the Lesnar space.... "Get a Title Shot with a mere 2-1-0 record, Move Ahead 47 spaces".
  8. Yup, I'd like to know the requirements to become a judge, because 20/20 vision clearly isn't part of it.
  9. Wow....what a terrible stoppage to the first prelim fight, a ref on this level should be able to realize something so simple.
  10. I like the picks. If Chuck wins tonight and gets a title shot before Machida get's a chance to fight the Shogun/Evans winner it'll be laughable. (assuming no injuries and such)
  11. hah...You sound exactly like me. I said the exact same thing to a friend the other day and he brought up the point that Franklin fights are usually pretty entertaining. I'll probably check it out at a sports bar, but 116 is the one most everyone is drooling over and I'll have friends over to watch it.
  12. While I'm not going to defend anything goofy he's done in the cage (I thought feigning the heart attack was funny as hell but that's just an opinion). I have to say that he was a really good coach on TUF, the polar opposite of Rampage. Rampage threw temper tantrums and was pretty much useless as a coach, Rashad was way more patient and helpful with his fighters.
  13. 1 - hah...sorry...that is what *SHE* called him. 2 - I didn't take it personally at all, I just thought it was the type of response of a casual fan who didn't appreciate his ability to formulate and execute a game plan and that kind of frustrates me. The same way you were annoyed with his gameplan, thats how I felt about the reponse to it. Anyways it's all subjective and what one person finds boring another can find really interesting. We're not going to change the other persons mind so let's just look forward to a more entertaining fight for everyone next time.
  14. Well my original line of responses were aimed at. That looks like he was calling him one. Anyways, no point in arguing over this anymore. I was entertained by the fight as a whole, but I get why some people disliked it. We can agree to disagree on the fight. Looking forward to Lesnar/Carwin (Liddell/Franklin doesnt interest me).
  15. Yeah, a Machida/Rampage rematch would be interesting after Machida KOed him last time. It seems like at this point in Rampage's career he has to dislike a guy or have something to prove to motivate him enough to train seriously. I don't know if his heart is still in it or it's just a paycheck for the man.
  16. I get that people were let down by the fight...with all the hype and both of them claiming they were going to KO the other for months and months you were expecting more. However, because the fight in general didn't live up to the hype by far, there is no reason to call Rashad a *****....if you listened to Rampage after the fight he certainly didn't have that kind of attitude.
  17. He tried to take him down multiple times throughout each and every round. Rogan pointed out that Rampage has one of the best takedown defenses in the UFC....and GSP fights are generally even more boring than this.
  18. No one has yet to tell me what Rashad should have done differently that would have given him such an easy win. You can't throw with rampage, and the guy has absurd takedown defense. What else could he do?
  19. Again, the people who think controlling clinches and going for takedowns = ***** fighting, you're watching the wrong sport. Sure, the KOs are fun, but this is not street fighting. If you have a sound/logical strategy that Evans should have used that would have guaranteed a victory as easily as his did, please explain it. Otherwise it just sounds like a bunch of casual fans who watch for the KOs and saw their king get beaten and are angry.
  20. If that's what is required to win, that is what you do. Pretty simple. It's not like he does this every fight, I already pointed out 4 of his 6 previous wins were KO wins. It's not like he does this every fight, just in this where it was the smart thing to do.
  21. 4 of his last 6 wins were by KO. If the KO is there he goes for it, but to go for it and risk losing when you have the win locked up is stupid. Whats better for his legacy? To win by out pointing Rampage or going in like a dummy trying to KO Rampage and getting caught and losing? It just seems like Rampage fans who are bitter about him losing and need to knock down Rashad now.
  22. If you want to see two idiots just trade shots at each other go watch some old Kimbo street fights. It's Mixed Martial Arts not street fighting...controlling in a clench and take downs are technical abilities.
  23. Glass chin? Nope. He's only been KOed once, and Rampage didn't even land on him that well. If you watch the replay he was going down to dodge a Rampage shot and ran into Rampage's knee and that's why he got knocked down.
