That is correct. I remember one year where we won 8 games and at least 5 were lost by our D as they were incapable of stopping the opposing offenses and giving up a TD with less than a min left. Then the following year we had better D play (I think our D that year was like top 10 or something) but then our O sucked. So Kirk when he was here never have had both sides playing at a higher level.

Turner turned back to Wentz and sealed his own fate. He should have been pulled in the 3rd QT and we could have at least won against the Browns. Play calling was a head scratcher too as well at times. No situational football play calling. But whatever. I hope Ron brings him back so you can be tortured further.

To me it is the opposite. A potential QB1 who has been with the team for 1 year is better to mold to what you want to do with them instead. Already has some starting games experience (including the pre-season as well) rather than seeing the QB you pick become a bust instead. And if for some reason it doesn't work out then you can say hey I am going to get my QB in the pretty good QB class of 23 in the 24 draft. I think it is an ideal situation to be in. -
One of the sports reporters, heard them say on the radio last week, that the Jags can be a dangerous team if they make the playoffs. So far they have looked the part and took command in the 2nd half.
