I'd feel vindication on your end as to how Peters felt.
Yep. I'm one of the few to have JJ their #2 (and to go on the record as such at the risk of much ridicule) so in that sense I do feel as though my assessment of him was not completely off-base - though it was Daniels who assumed that position for most of the duration. As you said though, only time will tell nobody has a crystal ball.

That actually makes me feel worse about the competency of our FO, if true.
Haha!

I do feel some vindication

Our secondary is going to be much better with these UDFA moves. I still find it hard to believe some went undrafted. Maybe by design - not sure how exactly this process works.

Oh everyone sees and evaluates differently. You could very well have seen things and perhaps others did and dinged him for it as well.
Actually, I think it's more of a hand placement thing, which led me to believe it was a strength concern.

So you felt Suamataia had strength issues? I know he needed work on his run blocking but I never saw him as week. He has all the tools, he is #3 on Feldman's freak list
Yeah, there were some reps at the SB where I really started questioning his strength. That's just my perspective though. I could be way off the mark though - not the first time

Med red flags, or off the field red flags?
Strength issues for me. That was pretty easy to see from my perspective and why I was not very high on him.

Well, it looks as though I will have 4 undrafted - it seems to me this draft in particular was peculiar in that regard. IMO, a whole heck of a lot of players had draft-able grades that weren't selected.
Curtis Jacobs Penn State LB - puzzler to me
Bo Richter OLB Air Force - another puzzler to me check out his RAS - he's a Viking now
Trente Jones OG - a Packer I think
David White Jr. WR - still not signed I believe

The little bit of tape I saw on him reminds me of Duane Brown.
Not a bad comp. I think Brown was more of the 'dancing bear' type though - not that Coleman's feet are bad.

but others thought he was just flatly good at everything.
That's where I fall too and hate that the Eagles got him.

Brandon Coleman is good. I can see him playing LT at some point. He stood out to me way back in October, November when I started looking at OL.
Holy cow.
I just learned we signed as UDFA's
RB Michael Wiley Arizona - love this dude, watch his tape.
DB AJ Woods - this dude is blazing fast & we got DB Tyler Owens & Chig.
Peters crushed this draft & our UDFA signings fellas no doubt in my mind.

White Goodman would beg to differ
A God among mere mortals is one White Goodman - whatever you do don't make him bleed his own blood

OLB Curtis Jacobs Penn State is another that went undrafted and puzzles me.

Big athletic corner - real surprised Chig went undrafted.

Easy A for me. So glad Peter's is here. The difference between this draft and our prior ones is night and day for me right off the bat.

Just watched the first quarter of the National Championship game with an eye on Hampton. It’s an absolute bloodbath for our man 😂
The traits they like are easy to see. But dear God, that is one undisciplined safety.
I noticed that alien/freak OT you took in the 7th went in the 3rd or 4th. Nice job.

Two of my favorite RB's going back to back.

I think I would have preferred Simpson over Hampton but whatever.

Hampton's nice too.

Cedric Johnson could be interesting here too...

DJ James being available at this point is making me look bad

Too early for me to dive into this BUT:
These dudes I like a lot
Howard Cross
Tyleik Williams
Patrick Payton
And please let us have OLB Jay Higgins on our radar. He reminds me somewhat of Patrick Willis one of my all-time favorite LB's
