Pretty embarrassing the price was a measly 1.5M that a billionaire owner wouldn’t afford for the last 20 years,
I think it's a crock taxpayers help fund new stadiums as well. America has a billionaire problem in my view.

It's not like the dudes Ron skipped over were rocket science tough to figure out.
I'd venture at least a dozen ES regulars could have had better draft outcomes during Ron's entire tenure here.

Ministry of Ungentlemanly Warfare is brilliant! Guy Richie makes some damn good movies.

Asphalt City - very good. The Mike Tyson character brings down the movie to an extent though.

The only guys who are probably going to struggle are the ones who don't put in the work to keep up with the details and adjustments every week.
And Forbes because he sucks and someone on staff please get that man pounding down mass gain shakes for God's sake!

I just wish we could find an explosive game breaking type RB. Did you know that our last RB to break a 40+ yard run was Derrius Guice?
I'm more than a little surprised we did not look that way in the draft at some point. We could have used just such a back I agree.

I think Robinson is a good back but not special. However, I think part of the point of the modern NFL is that you don't really need a "special' RB nowadays. You need a couple of guys who are good and who can pick up yards (and who can also catch).
But the NFL is such a passing geared league that having a crazy elite level RB but with a mediocre QB usually means you do nothing, especially in the long term, considering the relatively short shelf life of most RBs.
And why I really like Benson in Arizona.

If Rivera was that determined to take a CB, why not the more pedigreed ones like Gonzalez, Banks, Porter,
Still boggles the mind we went with Forbes over them

Having said that, I recall commenting back then, that he flashes when he blitzed, he didn't blitz much but when he did he was quick and elusive. Not really having pass rushing moves but he was good at finding a crease and taking off.
We could have gotten that from Ivan Pace Jr and for a lot cheaper 🙂 I was not high on him for his physical limitations, which proved to be overblown but it was obvious he could get downhill as well as anyone.

According to David Harrison Dyami had a good practice overall yesterday. In terms of the one he beat Forbes on
Not especially inspiring

Thanks to everyone for posting info in the thread for me. My father in-law passed away a couple of days ago. So I have been pretty busy. Love finding a few minutes to take my mind off of life. It is appreciated.
I lost my brother in 1993 and I'm not a religious zealot by any means but several instances have occurred since over the years that I believe were my brother reaching out to me trying to let me know everything is okay. I believe we all will see our loved ones again. I really do.

I think peters got this one right too.
I hope so and thus far, for me anyway, he has been impressive with his actions, but the questions surrounding Kliff are warranted IMO.

I’m not gonna post anymore on the topic. I want him to succeed as much as anyone. I just don’t understand why there isn’t more skepticism here in regards to his abilities.
Spot on. I just listened to Matt Harmon & Andy Behrens (Yahoo) discuss that very thing. They listed him as someone in serious need of a reboot career wise. They like the pieces he has to work with especially heaping praise on B Rob and Terry, but they're legitimately concerned about Kliff's role and ability to be successful with his style.

In two years this guy has 1 catch for 3 yards.
What is it about him that you find interesting?
I've been studying the draft for a while now pretty closely and I've liked him ever since he came out of Texas Tech. I think he just needs an opportunity and although we now have Luke, he is the type of WR IMO this offense could use.

April 27, 2022 | 10:15 AM EDTEvery cycle, you have players that you’re higher on than the consensus. This year, that player for me is Texas Tech WR Erik Ezukanma, whose scouting report is still woefully underrated heading into the 2022 NFL Draft. There are always a lot of factors at play when evaluating the wide receiver position, but I’m confident that Ezukanma has the physical tools to be a dynamic weapon at the next level.

Too bad we cannot swap Dyami Brown for the Dolphins Erik Ezukanma at the same time.

So happy the Orioles have finally transformed into a winning franchise again. I hope they win it all this season for my Dad who will turn 80 in August and born and raised in Baltimore. One thing that is perplexing to me and seems like a huge mistake is not trying to go ahead and extend Gunnar like yesterday.

Was watching one the other day and thought to myself - why are they allowed to do this?
It used to be illegal back in the day as were stock buybacks. Oddly enough - it's just the U.S. & New Zealand that allow drug companies to directly advertise like this.

I understand people don't like big pharma. But I'm having a hard time blaming them for this issue. I guess there is some over lap between them and the food industry, but at some level, this is the result of personal choice, stupidity, and political will.
My biggest issues with Big Pharma:
Entirely too much influence and control over a medical doctor's education and practice
End the public subsidies and cease all T.V. advertising and tax gifts - all while fleecing Americans with the highest drug costs in the world
Too much indemnity and that also needs to end

I hope we dont have a 3rd headed backfield
Me neither. I expect Kingsbury to use B Rob much like he did James Connor & Ekeler a souped-up version of Edwards in the pass game. I do not want a predictable offense or defense. So tired of that.

My thumbs down was on your post saying Wylie is average and the line last year was average. And the fans were just protecting Howell. The next post disagreed and I felt no need to repeat what has been said sooooo many times.
I totally disagree with your take.
