  1. Lideatrick Tulu Griffin WR Mississippi State also very interesting to me.
  2. WR Casey Washington Illinois could be a sleeper
  3. I want to say yes. Maybe I spoke prematurely. He does not have a lot of starts at the position, but other than that, I can't find anything too significant. Maybe the injury stuff is much ado about nothing.
  4. Agreed. The only concerns are health albeit that's a big one for him.
  5. Makes perfect sense. That's why McDaniel targeted De'Von Achane last year.
  6. The new Shogun is awesome. I'm actually liking Kevin Smith's Masters of the Universe series as well. Tokyo Vice is something I may venture into. Not quite got the hook in me just yet.
  7. Note to self: refrain from consuming guacamole before engaging in squat thrust exercises.
  8. Another post Combine riser that looks interesting. 4.42 forty and almost a 40 inch vert. FS Millard Bradford
  9. He's nowhere near 1st round caliber for me. IMO, his value lies within rounds 3-5.
  10. Yep and IMO his accuracy concerns were valid but he seemed like an entirely different QB in that regard for the Colts. I believe he was credited as being one with a good work ethic. That in conjunction with coaching changed that in a big way.
  11. I agree. While he's a better prospect than I initially gave him credit for, I would feel more comfortable looking elsewhere to fill our OT needs depending on the board of course because he could be a value pick at some point. I'd be more comfortable with Blake Fisher, Patrick Paul and Goncalves over Roger but would not be terribly upset with him if he's our target.
  12. The pass against Minnesota at 1:37 I believe is my personal favorite. Again, I don't have a vendetta against Maye and am not rooting against him. I just want our perpetual QB problem fixed and if Maye's the cat to do that I'm all for it.
  13. Kiran is another I am slightly against consensus. Tools for days without question but I wanted to see how he fared at the Senior Bowl against better competition. He was recovering from surgery and could not partake, however. I'd personally be a bit wary taking him too high.
  14. That's a term I first heard by our beloved Coach Gibbs when describing Campbell's flaws. I take it to mean a QB that senses pressure that is not an imminent threat and deviates from the designed play.
  15. We'll have to agree to disagree on Maye friend, but it's not that wide of a gulf disagreement wise. I've not done any confirmation of the veracity of this statement, but I believe Matt Waldman has expressed the same concerns for what it's worth. M Waldman believes talk Drake Maye might drop, and Nix rise Manhattan : 2/5/2024 9:12 pm Rookie chatter talk. Matt Waldman does believe the chatter about Drake Maye possibly dropping. The chatter comes from some evaluators leaking contrary evals. He says in his study he gets Desmond Ridder vibes from Maye. Thinks he is a late first round or 2nd/3rd round QB. Never understood the talk about going #2. Thinks decision-making, accuracy and mechanics are lacking. Great athlete but a bit of Mitchell Trubisky to his game. Conversely, he likes Bo Nix, and believes he is a riser. Says scheme argument used against Nix is incorrect. The Oregon offense is more varied than is often portrayed. He thinks Nix is accurate, moves around well in the pocket, and makes strong decisions. He is able to create inside and outside structure. It is linked here and should cue correctly, but if not, this portion of the conversation starts at 26:40. Feel It Or F@#k It: 2.5.24: An RSP Cast with Bob Harris and Matt Waldman - ( New Window )
  16. I think it just boils down to a processing and decision-making aspect to his game. He also suffers from rabbit ears IMO, something that afflicted JC a good deal in his time here. Also, if your forte is attacking the middle of the field, you darn sure better be accurate. I'm really not trying to be the ES contrarian here and am speaking from my heart/gut about this. It's looking like he will be the pick so I will certainly support it and wish him the best.
  17. That's right! I'm sorry I forgot. Yeah, I'm not doling out anymore opinions on QB's until after the draft. I still maintain Nix & Penix are being undervalued to an extent. I do like Daniels, however.
  18. Well, I was hoping for some company in my concerns of Maye. I think I'm the only guy on this forum who - dislike is too strong a word - but certainly questions his #2 QB crowning. I see a lot of Jason Campbell in Maye aside from better mobility and arm certainly. I hope I'm wrong. Thanks though for your take!
  19. I like them too KB a lot, but they'll go much higher than those I listed. Foster I'm not that high on though. I was at one point but he is more a project type IMO.
  20. He's on the radar with those numbers. He's another in a fairly long-line of Day 3 type prospects. These are the OT's I'm most interested in that range aside from Grable. Cade Beresford Boise State Doug Nester West Virginia Frank Crum Wyoming Jeremy Flax Kentucky Walter Rouse Oklahoma Josiah Ezirim Eastern Kentucky Nathan Thomas Louisiana Travis Glover Georgia State Garrett Greenfield South Dakota State
  21. Interesting take Martin. I think most of these prospects have been pegged as more RT than LT types. Fashanu, Guyton and Morgan are slipping a tad for me overall. My opinion of Latham is that he has one of the highest ceilings 😜
