Knew this team was fools gold all along, glad I didn't buy in.

Firing Randy will help, but it's still a pretty flawed roster led by a deeply flawed player.

This team started feeling themselves after a hot start against awful teams and Randy did nothing to quell it. It's amazing we've got the San Antonio pedigree here but very little of the influence that really counts. 

12-13 in our last 25.

Regressing to the mean after the powder puff early schedule. This team just isn't that great and unfortunately we're stuck with it.

Getting blown out at home to a team that is on a back to back (game went to OT no less) and had to travel, while we've had 3 days to rest.

So Wizards.

This is an average NBA team benefiting from being in a terrible conference. Nothing I've seen so far this season has changed my opinion.

This team is going to get murdered in in the playoffs. Incapable of playing with good energy in consecutive games. 

I'd say make some trades, but Martell has been trash since coming back and I can't imagine the market for Seraphin is too strong given his deficiencies. Really need to find a way to get another guard that can actually handle the ball and get his own shot.

Wall should be furious with his teammates after this one. 

Wall iso nearly loses us the game. Give the ball to Pierce and let him jack up a shot, he's earned that right and can actually get his own shot off.

I thought we had Finals potential but we arent tough enough. Gonna be another 2nd rd exit at best.

At best, indeed. We've played a cupcake schedule so far and have lost the only meaningful games handily. 

Really unimpressed even if we pull this one out. 

14 TOs for Wall across the back-to-back, gross.

I'll say it again, for John Wall to complete his transition into a star player his consistency scoring has to improve dramatically. Right now the rest of the team scores the ball and sometimes Wall scores well and others he's doesn't. The teams best player can't be so hot and cold.

Don't think I'm doubting John, I'm not. I'm a fan.

Consistency is what separates the great players from the good ones.

Right now Beal and Wall are far too schizophrenic in their play to be considered elite or close to elite.

Which suckfest should I watch the rest of the afternoon? So many choices...

 

Question: With Pierce looking to be hurting just a tad, should we start Porter friday? I think he needs the confidence boost from playing with Wall.

If Pierce is out there is no way you don't start Butler right now. He has been absolutely killing it. 

Have looked really awful against all the good teams we've played thus far, besides the previous Cavs game. Not a really great sign.

Bad first half for everyone not named Marcin. Super unimpressive.

The Magic look awful with the exception of Vucevic. No reason they should get back in the game at this point.

Rice is dominating. His handles look so much better than they were.

Really like this signing. Hopefully the team defense doesn't suffer much with an Ariza/Pierce swap, but good deal for sure.

Good season. Losing to the #1 seed in the second round is nothing to be ashamed of.

I'd love to find a team to dump Nene on and really hope Wittman isn't extended. I'll give him credit for doing a nice job this year, but close games when you need a good shot (see the last 6 minutes of tonight's game) he is not the coach you need.

An offense based around long jumpers just cannot win over 7 games against an evenly matched team.

Super impressive by Wall and Gortat. They did exactly what they needed to do after terrible performances in game 4.

Missed most of the game, but nice to see Wittman went with less of Gortat and Nene and more with Gortat/Nene + Gooden/Harrington.

No good coach advises taking a 3 there and we've done in all year.
