  1. You think it's smart to defer to Blatche to take a 3?
Wide open shot for a guy shooting 50% from downtown? Absolutely. Blatche hits that shot once a game at least. Just so happens that he missed. Would I have liked Gil to take the shot? Of course, but the Pistons weren't going to let that happen.

We needed Wall in that OT, Gil just didn't have the gas to get it done there. Overall pretty happy with everyone. McGee looked good going up against one of the better rebounding C combos in the league, so that's great. Young continues to play very, very well. Clearly all the tape he watched of Rip helped. Consistency is key, and he's been consistent of late.

Blatche is clearly struggling with that injury, wouldn't surprise me if he gets a few games off when Yi comes back, but he made some clutch buckets. He just doesn't seem to have the lateral movement that he usually does.

  2. This is such bull****. I live in Baltimore about an hour from Fedex. I have lived in MD my entire life and been a skins fan since birth. Now I have to stop watching games at home with friends because Fox doesnt broadcast a team that's stadium is 40 miles away. Im disgusted.
Yep. ****ing so lame. Yet another reason to hate the Ravens.
  3. Also, interesting stat from last night: The Wizards had 8 free throw attempts, the Bulls had 34... Whatever happened to home town officiating?

I'd say it was in full effect? lol :)

That said, Flip's offense does not create a lot of opportunities for foul calls with all these jump shots. The only 2 players I can count on going hard to the basket throughout the game are Wall and Thornton, neither of whom were 100% the past 2 games.

  4. You know another thing, I'd say a majority of Wall's turnovers last night were a result of him trying too hard to feed his teammates. I remember a few where he had a shot himself and instead of taking it, he tried to force a pass to a teammate and it would get picked off. Of course it would help if Cowherd did something other than look at a boxscore and the opening scene of Sportscenter. Like watch the game or something. Crazy concept, I know.
Yeah. 3-4 of his turnovers were him giving good passes into the post, only to have Blatche, McGee or Armstrong not fight hard enough for the ball.

That's not to say Wall won't be a high turnover player this year, but he more than makes up for it with the other facets of his game. Not to mention those turnovers will go down when he gets a legit #2 option.
