Couldn't have said it better. Moving to Pittsburgh I'm glad its super difficult to catch Wizards games, don't have to delude myself into thinking this team is anything other than average. Just awful investments all around, maybe EG will finally get the axe and I can start paying attention again.

Crowder looks like Antonio Brown out there. Just need to reliably get him the ball.

The Wizards are irrelevant. Even in the "good" years that secured Ernie a job they were playing in the worst conference in NBA history with amazingly lucky draws in the playoffs. I didn't watch more than 5 games all last year, and that stands to decrease this year. I can't even hate the Beal contract. I don't think he's worth it, but who else are we going to bring in? Ted has long since accepted mediocrity in a super-star driven league, we have nothing that is going to draw a real winner to this city. Wall is great, but he's not a transcendent talent like Curry or LeBron. If you're going to turn your small market team into a legitimate NBA champion, you need to luck into a generational player.

KD is either signing with the Thunder on a one year deal, or signing with the Spurs. Him coming to DC was nothing more of a pipe dream even if the Wizards didn't totally **** the bed this past year.

Basically everything I hoped wouldn't happen to convince Durant to stay in OKC has happened so far this season. KD and Westbrook our thriving, while we're getting exposed and the locker room is imploding. That's DC sports for you.

This looks like a .500 basketball team, not sure firing Wittman would help much but it's certainly long overdue. Our star players are all deeply flawed and our front court is trash.

Huge step back defensively. Front court is just miserable in all facets of the game.

Great win, if we could do anything about our front court Durant will have a really difficult decision to make. As good as Westbrook is, if they don't win it all this year when will they? Playing with ego-less players like Beal and Wall would be pretty tempting...

It's early but I'm a bit concerned about our complete lack of defense so far this season. We haven't even played a good offense yet.

I love Oubre's game.

I really like the Neal and Dudley signings, but I'm still a bit concerned that we don't have anyone that is good off the dribble (especially with Pierce gone) besides John. Beal and Neal are obviously lights out shooters, but both struggle putting the ball on the floor.

Aldrige to SA, think that helps or hinders our chances at West? My guess is he still wants to start on a contending team.

Was fun while it lasted, but we all knew the flaws this team has. Just like last year we got lucky playing an absolutely terrible first round opponent and let our egos get the best of us. Sucks that it means no changes will be made.

I can't believe he hasn't gotten any minutes with the way our bigs are getting crushed by Atlanta's front court. Anyone want to play as hard as John is?
