Because it doesn’t work that way. She has 3 particular gas stations in the are that she checks specific machines to see what the jackpot is up to and  depending on where it’s at and some other factors she will decide to play or not. And she will put in $50 to $100 and win a bunch of more plays until she hits it. She knows what she’s doing as I said she records it and I’ve seen the tickets too that she cashes out cuz she sends me pics and she even goes with other people from work and will help them grab a few hundred here and there. Everybody vouches for her.

I’ve never seen games like that.  The ones I’ve seen like Queen have fixed payouts, not ones with some accumulated jackpot.

It seems stunning, to me, the incredible use of drones in this conflict.

The notion that a war could be fought using weapons that are completely dependent on the ability to maintain continuous, live, streaming video. Over (classified) distances. While approaching actual warships. Airfields. Against the Russians?

really hope we're not exposing our tech over there.

This has been going on since the early 2000s, even earlier in development.  I interned for one of the companies that worked on one of the subsystems for the ancestor of the Reaper in the late 90a.  At the time, the system had no weapons (that I knew of) only a video feed.  Later on the Hellfire system was added.

But I feel that any tech we’ve had the Russians have known about from their “sources” in Iraq/ Syria / Afghanistan for quite some time.

And the scenarios where we would hit something inside Russians birder with a drone or anything else are pretty frightening

lady I work with makes around $1,500 a week minimum from them. She records herself and everything. Most she’s ever had to put in is $100

    shes a legend

    Call me skeptical

Why not put in $200 so she make $3k a week?  Or $400 so she can make $6k ? Do they cut her off at some point ?

If she had indeed somehow broke the system I don’t see how she’s not a millionaire already and why would she continue to work.

The adults involved have only consented to participate in private, which sounds like none of our business until you realize that an intelligence service would view this as an answered prayer. Getting video of humiliating kinks, threatening marriages that could result in untold riches changing hands, and the prospect of ruining the reputation of powerful men is tremendous leverage.

Didn’t seem to affect Bob Kraft…

With Trump I think we’re getting to the point where people just don’t give a **** anymore

Youngkin is realizing now the timing is not right.  If DeSantis with way more national presence can’t put a dent in the Trump juggernaut then he has no chance.  The plan is now.to ride out the governship then gear up for 2028.

How does this work for any moderate GOP members vs. cutting a deal with Dems and going with Jeffries?

"I once was in the House of Representatives..."

Because at the very least they won’t be primaried.  Which became a real danger if they held out indefinitely.   I guess they figure it was better to take a chance in the general election and weather any backlash

been over this ad nauseum but the Nats let over the course of 5 years, Harper, Turner, Soto, Scherzer and Rendon walk.

Out of all those 5 only Rendon looks like a bust.

Turner looked a bust early but has settled in in Philly.

Harper is going ham in Philly in the playoffs and quickly making a name for himself.

You telling me you cannot keep ONE of them? Just one. Letting them all walk is going to hurt the Lerner legacy.

I understand the Nats were one of the oldest teams to win a WS, they were decrepit, yes. Farm system, down, yes. But letting 5 players like that walk, and seeing 3 of them in contention for a world championship? Where would you possibly get that narrative, that they'd end up like the Angels, from?

All I'm saying is that you keep one of them. Just one. Harper, fine. Keep him. Soto, sure. Just one. That's all I'm asking

If you are going for a rebuild, there would be no point in keeping just one.  Because by the time you are ready to compete again, there is a decent chance those guys aren't nearly as productive and that cash could have been better spent in free agency.

Unless you are going for some type of franchise type HoF player ...  Harper, Soto, maybe Turner could have fit that bill... sadly I think those days are gone at least for teams that aren't huge markets like NYC, Boston,  LA maybe Chicago.

Mets and Padres failed horribly spending but the Nations when the Lerners weren't cheap won a WS title. Spare me the complaints about the market Nats fans because we literally won a title paying out the ASS for Scherzer, Corbin et al

Sadly the Nats as we all know do not own their own TV rights forcing the Lerners to use deferred contracts. And then they act surprised when all their talent doesn't want to re-sign there.

Most frustrating thing as a Nats fan...and I'm a season ticket holder. If they'd just spend more they could be more competitive. Spend to keep your superstars. Instead most of them are playing for the NL pennant in Philly...or trying to win a championship in Dallas...

The Nats did not have  a good core, due to the farm system being neglected for years.

If they had kept Harper, Soto and Turner, you'd more likely end up with a situation like the Angels where you have a few superstars surrounded by dog doodoo.

Yeah we have students who will make a few laps around the building before they go to class, which makes a few students late to class. Some teachers want to crack down it.

I'm like, let them walk. They already sit for an unhealthy amount of time even just at school, let alone going home and being mostly sedentary for a lot of them.

And agreed, the school lunch is not healthy, and rarely even appetizing, despite what seems like a new campaign once a decade to "improve school lunches".

Back when I was in school, there was morning recess (about 10:30) at least until junior high, then recess after lunch.  My understanding is they've taken that away to focus more on academics.

The lunches issue is a problematic ... healthy stuff which is also appetizing is generally more expensive, and no one wants to increase the school budget because it means increased taxes.  And in many cases getting kids to eat healthy may be hard, because they are so used to junk at home.  The quality also needs to be there.  Back in the 90s I remember the stuff they used to pass off as healthy was like rotten apples and bananas, plums which were pulled out of the freezer 30 minutes before lunch started and still semi-frozen, etc.  So he junk food which was frozen/refrigerated and reheated, e.g. pizza, burgers, chicken nuggets, fries, nachos etc. was just worlds more palatable.  Then you add the chips, cookies and the sugary drinks, then theres the candy and chocolate from the vending machine ...

I imagine it would take multiple sessions for someone who is obese then?

Folks need help, im all for people taking personal responsibility for their health, but once someone gets to a certain weight it is hard as hell and can take a considerable amount of time to get it off.

Look how long it takes for some folks to say they lost 100 pounds, and then look at the direction the percentage of our country is and currently heading towards obestiy.

It's time to open a multiple front war in this issue, its literally killing us.  Was reading article yesterday in the Times that the life expectancy difference in this country been folks with a college a degree and without one is nearly 8 years.  This is way worse then we think it is.

Without a College Degree, Life in America Is Staggeringly Shorter https://www.nytimes.com/2023/10/03/opinion/life-expectancy-college-degree.html?smid=nytcore-android-share

Unfortunately there is no surgery to simply remove fat in most cases.  There is bariatric surgery to reduce the size of the stomach.  This can reduce hunger, but you can still overeat if you are a food addict.  Watch some episodes of my 600 pound life.  The patients have to lose weight before he can do surgery.  They say it’s because it’s too dangerous, but I really think the doctor wants to be sure the patients can stick to a diet before he can justify a surgery

In some cases the very overweight people can lose 50 or more pounds in a single month.  This makes sense, a larger person is going to be able to lose weight because their TDEE for equal activity level is going to be much higher - in these cases 6000 calories or more.

I have been obese since puberty.  I was very close to being simply overweight twice , but fell odd the wagon for a few reasons . Hopefully this tracking an approach allows me to change that for good, because there is literally nothing I can’t eat.  Only the amounts matter, along adequate protein intake.

The  bottom line is often tasty foods are generally unhealthy while healthy foods are usually meh. Especially without prep. Diets are hard to stick to,  It’s like if you get have the choice between sex with a supermodel/porn star/whatever vs sex with an ordinary person.

On top of tap at, we work jobs which are mentally fatiguing but not physically fatiguing.  At the end of the day it gets hard to work up the energy to exercise.

I think this need to change in early.  Childhood obesity is increasing, and obese children generally become obese adults.  Michelle Obama tried to fight this battle and lost,  The food companies are just very powerful. Schools districts don’t want to spend the time and money to healthy food.  Adults are busy and dont pack healthy lunches or make healthy breakfasts or dinners

By itself, no, but getting that weight off is a huge start to get to a lifestyle that can be maintained that reduces heart disease versus having to work so long and at certain age risk easily back slipping that causes some people not to try and just stay obese.

It can take me 2 weeks to lose 10 pounds and couple days to get it back, im not obese, but the struggle is real.

Liposuction doesn’t really move the needle very much to have any measurable effects. It can only remove a very small amount of subcutaneous fat.

Its mostly for models and actresses who are trying to fight genetics and aging.

If you’re pressed for time I would try HIT cardio and/or weights.  And track your food
