how much would it take though? especially if bears want maye or anybody but Caleb..then they could trade down from the second also
Good point. Hard to say. I've seen a few ridiculous throw outs from people that even included the Falcons in a trade up.

I'm telling you all, when the dust settles, we will end up drafting Maye. I know it seems like a slam dunk for Celeb Caleb to DC but I will take the heat in saying we won't give up the capital to move up to #1 and draft him. Maye played his entire CFB career in the Air Raid and he will be our QB at #2 unless someone takes him at #1 and I don't think that happens.
I hold my ground on Maye at #2. If it does, Kliff and whoever our new QB coach is and Quinn will need to baby sit Wiliams. This team wants mature, hardworking players and I don't think Caleb fits. We shall see.
Totally agree. I don't see it either. Caleb's going to Chicago (unless another team trades up) and we're getting either Maye or Daniels. I like Caleb but he's just not worth giving up draft capital ala RGIII.

Chris Long on the Quinn hire.
He's right about Quinn going up to Kyle and saying "Hey mothereffer, we're running the football"

I can't hate on Jason Wright after one of the mods (I think @Jumbo?) shared that Jason was willing to pay out of pocket to keep ES live when the site went down briefly.
Will never say a bad thing about him just because of that.
I didn't know that. Yeah my mouth is shut on anything Jason Wright from now on.

I wanted Detroit to show up but must admit that would have been a bad and boring SB. At least we have the best team from both conferences, so this should be a good game.

Something I don’t understand about Kingsbury: he’s considered an obsessively hard worker - like showing up to the facilities everyday a 3:30am and leaving later than everyone else kind of work ethic. I’ve heard this from media, Arizona fans, etc. And yet, his offenses have been consistently criticized for lacking attention to detail and racking up penalties (as @AlvinWaltonIsMyBoy mentioned above).
Tough for me to reconcile those two things. Either he’s not actually working as hard as people think, or he’s focusing on the wrong stuff to be obsessive over. Hopefully he’s self-aware enough to have learned from that and will improve going forward.
Sounds like what Joe Gibbs did but with different outcomes.

Wow. Howell looks like the white Gary Coleman, standing next to Maye! Maye is either a giant or Howell needs to get stretched like Barney Fife did, whenever his lack of height was going to ruin his career 😂

I agree, but I don't think Williams is it.
I'm OK with Caleb. I just hope we don't trade up to try and get him. Keep the picks and just select Daniels.

Somewhere along year 2 thru 4 we will finally achieve our 30 year Achilles heel.
Winning more than 10 games.
So I'm OK with the hire.

So are we waiting until after the Super Bowl to hire Kyle Shannon as our offensive coordinator?
Your expecting another Falcons SB dumb decision before they run him out of town? 🤣

Found it for those interested in this “rumor”…
I don’t Twitter so can’t vouch for authenticity but my spider sense suggests click bait
Yeah even though McDonald also got 6 years it just didn't seem to me to be TOO far fetched. I posted it as a pic and not a link. I thought the pic of Peter's saying GTFOH was funny.

I can't believe after the fiasco that was the Ben Johnson thing people have jumped right back in to calling things "locked" or saying "99% sure its Quinn". Lets not lol.
Because the opposite happened, they're hoping for the same thing with Quinn.

More on the future coach options:
As soon as she mentioned BB I cut it off.
I'm going to go with them hiring Mac.

2 hours after hearing the news, this is exactly what’s irking me. I also heard “he’s loyal, loves Campbell, and it’s not about the money”… if all is true, including the LAC thing, then why take so many interviews. Especially while your team is making a deep run, why deal with the distractions when you could simply say no upfront.
So many conflicting stories between being loyal or the money

It’s not being presented as just another opinion, it’s an account that posts literally made up “news”. If they ran an account that said “crazy theory but what if X, Y, and Z?” Then they’d be conducting themselves with some sort of transparency and just engaging in the conversation.
They’re posing as insiders who have information. That’s garbage and adds no value.
OK, you figured it out. I didn't. Good for you.
