How is it possible for a self-made billionaire in his fifties to be this obtuse?

The key for me is, “did he know”?
If he did, he’s a scumbag.
If he didn’t, he’s obviously not connected and out of touch... which makes him a poor leader... but not a scumbag.
After a total lack of empathy for the victims, another lousy communication from him, he should have given us the specifics.
He is not involved directly but is guilty by association, he is a control freak and lives there, no way he was not aware of the rumblings imo.
"The Post story also alleges team owner Dan Snyder demeaned a former executive who was a “cheerleader in college.”
That's not the first time he turned a blind eye on this kind of despicable behavior. I also hope one way or another Brucifer will have to testify about "the damn good culture".

Debra Katz, a Washington lawyer who has been tackling sexual harassment cases for three decades, explains how nondisclosure agreements (NDAs) support a cycle of secrecy about harassment and assault cases within cheerleading. An NDA is a contract by which one or more parties agree not to disclose confidential information that they have shared with each other as a necessary part of doing business together.
“When employees with little power sign [NDAs], it creates an environment where sexual harassment or improper pay can proceed because people are fearful of speaking out,” Katz said. “Anytime you have a profession or an industry where sexual harassment can be anticipated, putting someone under an NDA is designed to clearly protect the image and the team.” Katz said in an interview with The New York Times.

Owners keep on complaining about him year in year out and do nothing, and their ringleader is a joke. Only sponsors, medias, fans and politicians (no stadium deal) working together might have a chance to force him to sell.

Who you put around you in high level positions with a high level of trust is a little different than selectively being nice to star players that are ultimately what is selling the product you make.
im not prepared to say snyder has an issue with block people, but just cause he courted stars doesn’t mean there isn’t a problem in there somewhere about it.
I do agree, he would have courted a goat if this goat meant more $$$$$

The decison maker will never be accountable for anything. Time for Goodell to make a strong move, the sooner the better for this franchise.

NEJM, Lancet place expressions of concern on controversial studies of drugs for COVID-19
The article, “Compassionate use of remdesivir for patients with severe Covid-19,” appeared in in April and immediately triggered waves of both enthusiasm and skepticism. The researchers reported that:
In this cohort of patients hospitalized for severe Covid-19 who were treated with compassionate-use remdesivir, clinical improvement was observed in 36 of 53 patients (68%). Measurement of efficacy will require ongoing randomized, placebo-controlled trials of remdesivir therapy. (Funded by Gilead Sciences.)
Not surprisingly, the paper received an avalanche of page views, press coverage and attention on social media. It even prompted an open letter from Daniel O’Day, the CEO of Gilead, which makes the drug, sponsored the study and wrote “earlier versions” of the manuscript.
Surgisphere: governments and WHO changed Covid-19 policy based on suspect data from tiny US company
A search of publicly available material suggests several of Surgisphere’s employees have little or no data or scientific background. An employee listed as a science editor appears to be a science fiction author and fantasy artist whose professional profile suggests writing is her fulltime job. Another employee listed as a marketing executive is an adult model and events hostess, who also acts in videos for organisations.
