I predict that Shane and Stephanie will have a 'corpse on a pole' match. The remains will then be DNA-tested and the results announced live, inside the squared circle, by none other than Maury Povich. Maury will then announce that it is NOT their father, they will break down crying, and Maury will console them with promises to find their father, no matter what it takes.

Ok, I'm the un-handiest person ever. I have two projects I want done, and need to prioritize them and get 'em done. 1. Fence. Our HOA will only allow a wooden fence that looks like everything else in the neighborhood. We have a pretty big back yard. Lot totals a little more than 1/3 acre, and the back yard is bigger than the front. I'd love a fence to give some privacy and keep our little ones in. Is it best to go with a Home Depot or does it not really matter, just find a contractor? 2. Patio/deck. The door off the kitchen is only a few feet above the ground (we have a walk-up basement). Been going back and forth between patio and deck. If deck, we prefer man-made vs wood. But right now we're leaning towards a patio. I like the look of slate, but recently read about something called 'stamped concrete'. They can make it have the look, texture, color of just about anything you want-and it's probably cheaper. I'm just concerned about cracking. Anyone have experience with stamped concrete? How much do patios normally run if you hire someone? Is it better to go with a reputable company, or does it not really matter? Anyone have a strong opinion of patio vs deck, and the relative costs?

I wouldnt mind something tweaked for a few games a year. We have had various jerseys over the decades so I don't get the people who are married to one particular jersey or look. I grew up in the Golden Age of SB 17-26, but sometimes change is good.

This is a novel concept- I'd love to discuss the uniforms but never thought of making a thread about said topic. Anything new and cool would be nice, but only temporarily. I like our classic uni's just fine.

2 years ago, on 980 it was reported that Snyder petitioned the league for a black alternate jersey. It takes 2 years for the change to take effect, unless you win the Super Bowl, and then you can make a change right away. That's what the Rams did (from yellow to gold). Makes sense that he would petition for a change in time for the 75th anniversary. I hope they don't suck. They can't be any worse than the "Storm" jersey. I mean, why on earth would you want a gray jersey? Just don't wash your white jersey, or go root for the Raiduhs. If we go to the paloffs next year, people will say the uni's were good luck. If we suck again, people will say that it was a gimmick for Snyder to make more money. If it looks good, I'll buy it. If it's ugly, I won't. I will try not to make a correlation between the team's record and the jersey. Now, let me go put on my lucky Dockers, cuz I need to make some sales today...

Thank God, I hadn't seen a uniform thread in like 2 days. It was said on 980 last year that Dan Snyder petitioned the league for a black alternate jersey. If approved there is a 2 year wait, so if it is true then they may appear next season. I dont care what they wear, so long as they win.
