  1. Shoulda been a major. That was intentional and reckless.
  2. Hagelin having his stick held by the dude who broke his stick
  3. Testing positive for the Virus doesn’t mean you are “infected” if you want to use that word in that way. It means that when they swab your sinuses they detect the virus. Your body can kill all the virus and a PCR test will pick up those shedding dead cells and pop a positive test. That’s why an antigen test is a better test, because it detects live virus in you. PCR testing doesn’t determine if your body is killing off the virus preventing you from getting sick, just detecting the presence of the cells. Also, you CAN get the measles, mumps, or rubella after 2 doses of the MMR vaccine. There isn’t a single vaccine ever developed that prevents 100% of vaccinated people from getting sick, or transmitting the disease/virus they are vaccinated against to unvaccinated persons. None.
  4. Phase 1C in Maryland, and there isn’t an appt to be found. Can’t wait to find one and get stuck.
  5. Eat the Isles with Ovie-Kuzy-Orlov-Sammy on COVID protocol, Wilson out, and lose Backstrom and Eller mid game to injuries. Side note, Sheary should NEVER get a jersey over Sprong. I like Shultz in this system, and TvR has been good the last 2 games. Don’t really miss Orlov to be honest...
  6. How in the hell is that an interference penalty?!?!?
  7. That was an ATROCIOUS boarding call And after zone time on the PK we pass the puck to their only offensive threat in the slot with no one around him.
  8. Not when you get tested every day. When you are shedding, you test positive. NHL players are tested every
  9. Ok, Sammy tested positive after the Tuesday night Pens game. Now my question is, the penalty is from BEFORE the game because the Caps came home after the game. So the penalty is meant as an example for the league. Sammy sat on the bench the entire game. So why are the Russians forced to quarantine? It still doesn’t make any sense. The league’s statement is still that the quarantine/penalty is for being social without masks.
  10. So the Sabres have now had 11 PPs in 11 periods. The Caps have had 2.
  11. Caps don’t have potential spread. The Caps are “high risk close contacts” and placed on the COVID reserve. There is no positive test. In order to have potential spread there has to be a positive case. EDIT: The Stars didn’t have spread during a game. They haven’t played yet.
  12. Of those 2 scenarios, heavy exertion spreads it more. The Canes and Stars haven’t been fined for violating protocol. They have outbreaks. The team that has no outbreak has been hit with the biggest fine in league history for violating protocol. Teams costing other teams games = no fine. Team that just finished 4 games in 6 nights = fine. There is no logic...
  13. It’s a stupid rule when you permit said players to participate in games and celebrate without masks. Especially on the road when you literally lock them in the hotel and test them every day. No, zero visitors. Each player has their own room. No other person is permitted to be in the room with them at all.
  14. The team league, team, and player statement are all in agreement that it was players gathering in hotel rooms. NHL policy states that only 1 player is permitted in there room. No visitors. “In their hotel room and outside of team approved areas.”
  15. Nothing more than players being in one room. Caps were warned after the first game. League decided to make an example of them. What else is new. NFL crippled the Skins the day before free agency...
  16. Well, the locker room is not big enough to house an entire team and coaching staff and be socially distant. And face masks are not required in the locker room.
  17. No they aren’t. A8B08C42-C25F-4E5D-821B-0608246E8227.webp
  18. Who is everyone else? The players are locked down, and are not permitted to interact with ANYONE outside of the team.
  19. I get it. But the risk is no greater in a hotel room than they are in the locker room and on the bench. It’s all optics.
  20. They are on the bench without masks, in group cellies without masks, and in the locker room without masks. I don’t get why the players can’t be around each other without masks off hours. In the team hotel.
  21. 4 games in 6 nights, all on the road, to start the season for the oldest team in the league with no preseason, and a new system. And they took 6 of 8 points. That’s an 84 point season in this season (123 in a normal season).
  22. Orlov had Guentzal, Wilson had the point. What the hell was Backstrom doing floating that far from the net? Yeah, horrible rebound control, but Crosby should have been bodied and fighting for the rebound, not casually strolling through the crease.
  23. Backstrom was BAD in the zone. Left Crosby all alone.
  24. Unreal that was even a penalty. Shoulder to shoulder immediately after the puck left his stick. If that is interference, you can’t hit a player unless the puck is between his feet.
