Hold up... Why didn't they offer Tim Connelly 10 Million a year? Wasn't he only looking for 5 Million? Edit: Man... If this is true, I'm pissed all over again. If they lowballed Connelly just to offer another candidate 10 million a year, that's a really epic fail. Could have saved some money and had a potentially better GM imo. -
No one would talk about competitive balance if they'd just reseed the playoff teams before the playoffs. Even during the Warriors Dynasty run, they've faced some stiff competition in the West every year it seems. I'm thinking that'll balance out the dominance of a specific team more than a hard cap would... I'm down for both though.

Um... Not only did KD only play one quarter when most thought he'd be back for a few games, but Klay Thompson missed the end of a game, a whole game, and in the middle of making "Game 6 Klay" a thing... the bamma tore his ACL. Heck yeah, we were saying Gentlemen Sweep... The Raptors still earned this though. I don't want to try to diminish their run. Their players made plays throughout the playoffs. Kawhi Leonard forced his way into being an All-Time great.

Wonderful... He'll fit well here in DC. Let's fast forward to 2021 real quick... Beal, Wall, Brown, and the 9th Pick... This is most likely the core four we'll have. So my question is, what player in this year's draft would work best with these three players?

For me, the desperation is the fishiness. lol I feel like this GM Search was botched from the start and they tried to woo Connely and it failed and now they're trying to do the same with Ujiri. The only way he picks us is if he really wants to be in DC. Speaking from someone who is currently in DC, I don't know if I'm willing to leave Toronto to work here. The fact that his friendship with Obama is one of the selling points proves how weak the team really is.

Something does seem fishy about this... That offer is too good to refuse, but dude has it made in Toronto right now. I think if the Raptors can cough up 7 Mil a year for him, he'll take it and be happy. Edit: Apparently he's already making about 6-7 Mil a year... Maybe they meet in the middle at 8.5?

You don't truly believe this do you? Not only are they two of the best shooters in the league, but those two instantly improves the defense as well. GS needs at least one of them with Curry to compete with Toronto.

Something else I didn't see during the game that Jay Williams pointed out this morning... I thought Van Fleet plucked Curry on that shot, but Jay said Curry actually bounced the all further away to avoid getting plucked. Had he not done that, Van Fleet actually had his hand on the ball and that would have been an easy steal and dunk for the Raptors... Everything that could go wrong, went wrong, except the Warriors made a play to erase the errors instantly. 😂

Game one is just screaming Outlier at me... I need to see the Raptors do it again before I take them seriously. Siakam went for 32 shooting 14/17. The Warriors need Iggy as much as they need Durant though.

I wasn't on Social Media this morning, so I hadn't seen anything yet. When I turned the car on and heard Doc say, "I thought we were hiring a GM", I started to panic... Then the co-host read that Woj bomb. I am devastated. That's what happens when a mediocre franchise ****foots around. Next time just give the fifth freaking year. I'm going to throw up when the Nuggets win the 2023 Finals.

I can't lie... I did enjoy last night's Warriors performance. Draymond put the team on his back. Kind of cool to see.
