It's not that he hates colored jerseys, rather he thinks good guys wear white. And the idea started with the Eagles a year earlier, when they decided to wear white at home vs Dallass in the NFC Championship game. It was said that one of the Dallass players said they hated wearing the blue jerseys, so Vermiel decided to wear white. We continued to wear the white to make Dallass wear their blue. -

Are the Iggles wearing Green or white? Sometimes they go with white to make us wear our Burgundy, but that only works on Dallass with their Blue. I remember in the 70's and 80's Dallass absolutely HATED wearing their blue tops. Drove them crazy. I'm glad when we switched to our current uniform, we started wearing white at home.

I never thought about it until today when it was brought up in the other thread. Guess that means I was concentrating on the game and not the unis.

I honestly don't know how you can say that. It would be like me saying Dallass will be 1-15 this year and won't be competative for 5 years. Maybe you could say that about Cleveland, Oakland or Buffalo, but we have alot of good players up and down the roster. Not saying were SB worthy, but jeez come on. That had to be one of the most ignorant statements in a long time.

The 1995 season we swept Dallass we were 6-10, not 3-13. But 1/3 of our wins were against them when the won the SB. Oh and **** the Cowpies, Pukes, Brokebacks, etc. Edit: had 1/2, but meant 1/3.
