  1. Wow I don't get that move at all. Too early. Especially with your questionable offense. Just punt and try to pin them again. This coaching is really not that bright.
  2. They are going to go Henry all the way in the 2nd half, if their O coordinator has half a brain. Can we stop him? Haven't shown it yet, but this game outcome will have a lot to do with it.
  3. Welp, their O line is maybe worse then ours right now. They are like revolving doors.
  4. I am surprised. But very happy. That was a perfect throw and it was actually caught,
  5. Okay so if up tempo works why don't they stick with it? Who knows? They never stick with something that works.
  6. And the damn Giants are going to win in London. Honestly Jones looked like Rodgers in the second half.
  7. The only comparison here is that Stafford had NO time to throw the ball either last night. He wasn't looking so hot behind his O line. They couldn't even score a TD and he was sacked 7 times. You can blame Stafford, sure but I guarantee the media won't. They will accurately point out the regression/poor play of his O line this year. You won't hear that for Wentz, even though it is 100% true.
  8. He also had 4 TD's and 108.7 QBR in the first game. He played very well in the second half of the first game and we won. That is the game I was watching.
  9. Good points, particularly about Scheff and Flowers. I do not think Scheff wanted to be here quite frankly, regardless of what he said. I have noticed the higher throws in this game, and last game with Wentz. And I agree he does not seem to learn and repeats the same pattern. When he is successful scrambling around and hitting a receiver, I guess he looks heroic and he feels good, but more often than not, it is not working for him, and he can't escape. He is not as quick, as say a Russell Wilson, who seemed to be Houdini, at times when he played in Seattle. And IMO, right now, Wentz is drowning out there, and a large part of it, is what is happening upfront. I would like to see the staff work on that. Fix that blocking upfront and see where we are. Brian Robinson, if he comes back and is effective running the ball, like he was in the preseason, it may really help a lot. This O line seemed to be effective run blocking in the first half when our RB's ran to the left side. But then i noticed in the second half, they were trying to go up the gut. They never, ever seem to stick with something that works.
  10. He threw for 3,750 yards, with 27 TD's, with 7 INT's last year. Because he had a good OL. That proves my point. He performed well in the first game because he had an O line that could give him time. And yes, he had good RB's from what I hear in Indy, but not the caliber of receivers he has here. You have made the point before about his RB's but is clearly not the whole story. So, his stats are very good, and I looked at some of his games and it just proves with a decent O line you are going to be effective. Wentz does try to make things happen when he should just throw the ball away, but when your O line is so ****ty and you have such talent at the receiver position, he is just trying to make something happen. And yeah, that is some boneheaded play, because he has never learned to stop doing it, regardless of what team he is on. Russell had some good receivers, and RB, but a ****ty O line. True. And eventually he left because he had no weapons, and the D scattered to other teams for better contacts/more money. And Wilson has a better deal too now.
  11. Because Howell would get killed behind this O line. That is not how you bring along a rookie, IMO and give him experience that would be beneficial to his development. I think Wentz has played okay to well with a pocket. He has no time to throw and when he does, because he is rattled, because he can't get into a rhythm, he is throwing too high or too low. I think they have to fix the O line problem first.
  12. There is NO way in hell with our O line play, any QB would be effective back there. We saw in the first game what Wentz can do with a clean pocket. What is on Wentz is how he has gotten mentally shell shocked. When he had a bit of time, this week and last week, his throws were too high, or too low. A lot of inaccuracy. NO QB plays well in this league with a **** O line.
  13. I honestly do not see us winning another game this year playing like this. The whole idea, I thought, was to get a high-powered offense that could make up for the deficiencies within our secondary. Now the idea of a high-octane offense is over, due to injuries, to the O line. They are incapable of providing adequate protection for Wentz, who is beginning to look shell shocked, given all the times he has been hit, sacked. He has little to NO time to throw the ball, and when he does, he is throwing too high or low. The accuracy is off because he can never, ever get into a rhythm. And NO, Heinike would not do any better. He would be injured by now. The efficiency of the O line play is so vital. We are in deep trouble upfront, and our season is hanging on a solution IMO. I have no idea what the solution is. Do you bring in a TE set to do help with blocking up front? Also, they seemed to have some success, on that one drive, going up tempo. It is very frustrating. Every single year it is something. I never for one minute thought it would be the offense this year. Just goes to show why good O linemen are able to demand good salaries. The whole flow of the O depends upon their effectiveness as a unit. And there is no cohesion with this one. I predict more pain for us as fans going forward.
  14. Is there a team that is worse? The Lions maybe or Texans. But yeah, I think we have to be the worst team in the league at this point.
  15. Haha after I said that he heaved one to Dotson. I am very aware of the O line issues, and I am not blaming Wentz 100% but when he has had time, which is rare, he is in the dirt or high. BUT I know Heinike is not the answer.
  16. Wentz is so rattled at this point, we need to make a change, at least for this game.
  17. Your right. Gibson had a couple good runs too.
  18. They should go hurry up. They scored the last time they did it. Come on Turner get your head out of your ass
  19. Wow that was different in a good way! Should have good field position
  20. Where is Gibson? He is actually running well today, and the other guys are not. So why run them? Horrendous series. And why not stick with the hurry up. We just refuse to continue with things that work.
  21. So now that you have found something that works, will you stick with it? This team has tendency to abandon what is working. I mean with this personnel you have to figure out what is going to work and stick with it.
  22. The Wentz hate is too much. I think the run game with this O line, is the way to go right now. And then a surprise pass.
  23. Didn't O line always sort of struggle with running the ball, and better in pass protection. Hell maybe this group is going to better with blocking up front. RUN!!!
