    Maybe I over value Sam, but no way Im trading him for a 6th. I get wanting a vet to mentor our new shinny QB but Sam's potential has to be more valuable than a 6th rounder. Let Mariota mentor the new QB and Sam. Many say Sam is destined to be a back up anyway. Mariota is the perfect mentor for that.

    Fair to say New England really likes the top 3 QBs in the draft? They know they will get one (if not JJ). I suppose it’s not like Mac was someone they wanted to build around anyway so maybe reading into it too much but feeling like they and others think the top 3 are no brainer picks. None of the top 3 teams appear interested in a trade down either.

    Obviously proof is in the pudding and results on the field matter most but that was an excellent intro press conference. Its easy to see why he was the hire. Again, results on the field are paramount BUT, it sure feels like this franchise has come a long long way in the mater of 18 months and is starting to resemble something totally different. Oh and please change the name.

    Very interesting hire. This is going to be a really intriguing year. Looking forward to going to a game early next season.

    Sorry if ive missed it but has the team even acknowledged this hiring yet? seems odd that there ins't even a notification on their website about hiring a new HC.

    longevity... security... Lame duck coach in Dallas. Here he is likely guaranteed at least a 3 year run.
