  1. On the other side.. Kenny shouldn't even be here.. He's never going to be a star. He doesn't have the "it" like Edge and Orton do to make them viable heels.
  2. Going to RAW next week, taking my son as a surprise Xmas gift... He thinks we're going to see the Nutcracker. Found out during last night it's going to be a 3 hour show with a 30 man Battle Royal.. I was excited for my son more then anything, but hell now I stoked!.
  3. Sci-Fi can cancel the show just like any other show.
  4. Wouldn't hurt my feelings if they got rid of smackdown, trimmed the useless talent like Cade and Murdock and combined the rosters into a 3 hour show.
  5. Problem is there is nothing extreme about it.. You can't make Heat and slap the ECW name on it.. Now if these guys did some truely amazing stuff like the old ECW guys did, then there wouldn't be a problem. Still say CM Punk, needs to be on RAW.
  6. Not really anything good to talk about.. TNA's network debut bombed, WWE is in a holding pattern till the writers write something Vince likes. Big Show is gone.. RVD is on his way out probably.. Vince McMahon is choosing the wrong time to start throwing his weight around and bullying his talent. I think RVD would do great in TNA.. Big show wouldn't do that well I don't think.
  7. Poor man's Samoa Joe .... You gotta admit the skit with DX shipping SQ back to OVW was pretty good.
  8. Who else could be in their group? Nitro I suppose but I guess MNM is back.. guess they can be part of Edge n Orton. So who would be a good mid-carder for the group.. Hmmm Shelton hasn't done anything in 2 years .. Let him get some spot light.
  9. From http://www.wrestlingnewsworld.com/1/2/wwenews/Vince_Wants_Higher_Ratings_Shane_PRIDE_More.php Vince McMahon wants WWE ratings to improve, and there is a movement to differentiate RAW and Smackdown. RAW would return to its 90's style of being edgy, while Smackdown is being pushed towards a more 80's style. Shane McMahon is pushing for a cross-promotion with PRIDE including a possible PRIDE vs. WWE feud.
  10. nah man it was cool, didn't take it offensively, pardon me if I came of defensive ;P. BTW anyone know where I can get some of his ROH stuff, I havent followed ROH for years.
  11. Yeah I didn't know he was in TNA before as I just started watching it and for that matter just started watching CM Punk too.
  12. Watching more TNA lately, because of the urging of our posters here, it's slowly growing on me.. I'm a huge CM Punk fan, the guy is just talent. WWE either needs to use him properly or they'll lose him and I think he'd be a great fit in TNA from what I've seen so far of it. He would make the dismal midcard RAW so much better.. I hope they wise up.
  13. To many big stars lumped into one faction. Then RAW would be entirely focused on DX and that would just suck. You want to use DX to elevate the popularity of a midcarder, much like Evolution did for Orton(who was rotting on Smackdown before Evolution) and Batista.
  14. I like that plan.. but what young guy would you have doing the singles? I'm thinking, Shelton or Carlito. Both have good mic skills and that is a must if your going to be in DX. Would love to see CM Punk with them but I doubt that would ever happen, he's too far removed atm.
  15. I thought RAW was good last night.. That's because UK fans don't sit there on their hands. That's the loudest I've heard and arena since the last time WWE invaded the UK. Thought it was kind of cool how the brits appreciate good effort.. Like Johnny Nitro's cork screw from the top rope.. Heard some applause.. was awesome. The DX stuff is getting sillier and sillier.. the bit with Crime Time or however it's spelled was pretty funny.
  16. All I got to say is lol... In a bit of breaking news, CNN.com is reporting that Britney Spears has filed for divorce from husband Kevin Federline. Spears filed legal papers Tuesday in Los Angeles County Superior Court, citing "irreconcilable differences." She also asked for legal and physical custody of their two children. Federline appeared on RAW last night in a taped segment issuing a challenge for a one on one match against WWE champion John Cena on the New Year's edition of RAW. Several Hollywood gossip websites are reporting that Spears left Federline several days ago, taking their children to a local Los Angeles hotel. Apparently, Federline allegedly went into a fit of rage and destroyed some property after Spears laughed at a tape of his recent WWE appearances. It looks like that may have been the breaking point for her.
  17. I like your list just in different order.. 1. Mickie 2. Ashley 3. Trish
  18. I started watching because my Grand Father loved Dusty Rhodes. I was raised on NWA. Yeah sorry guess I absorbed the paragraph and picked out the names and didn't read it fully in context. Regardless, we lost out on years more of great Wrestling when Kerry died =(.
  19. *kicks you in the nuts* ok got the racking out of the way.. Just as me I've seen just about everything from since 1980 on (I was 5 ;p).. Think is.. I haven't forgotten anything. Terry Taylor's gimmick lol, The mis/underused Barry Windham(WWF's Widowmaker). Rick Martel was great before the Model Gimmick.. Strike Force with Tito was probably one of the most underated tag teams of all time. Texas Tornado could of been big but too bad we'll never know. You really can't blame the WWE on the Warrior, they gave him quite a few chances and he screwed them up himself..
  20. Understanding this business is something I do... You "niche" fans have this fantasy that TNA is some how mystically different then WWE. It's pure and shiney and all that crap. It's not. It's like any other business, they are trying to make a buck, using the exact same story formula that's been around for years. I for one am rooting for TNA to succeed greatly. The worst thing that has ever happened to this business is Vince buying WCW. Would love another Monday Night War. Oh here is some news on the Kurt Angle Project. If TNA fans were hoping Kurt Angle's presence would instantly boost the ratings and help iMPACT! move towards contention with ECW on Sci-Fi, this past week's number should certainly come as a disappointment. The most recent show, which featured a Kurt Angle in-ring appearance, posted a mere 0.8 rating, which is essentially the show's norm. According to Nielsen Media Research via PWTorch.com, the show opened with a .93 quarter hour, before declining to a 0.66 for the third quarter and then climbing to a .76 for the Angle appearance. Ratings for the past two weeks do reflect some additional interest in Angle's signing, but it has thus far been far from a blockbuster.
  21. I'm not saying WWE is better or worse, but regardless they are number 1 by a huge margin. TNA needs to think about marketing a little bit. A little imagination and we'll have a new Monday War... Until Vince buys TNA.
