  1. I tuned into TNA for the first time in a while last week and was just floored at how much fun I was having with the show. The random shots of Raven just sitting there and being Raven. Then they switched it up and had him chilling with Dr Stevie. Mick has been awesome as the heel champion/chairman.
  2. The only thing that is remotely interesting to me in the E right now is the slow simmer to heel turn that CM Punk is undergoing. I know I was calling/hoping for this last year but it looks like we'll finally be getting it this time. *wrings hands*
  3. Yeah, they went up a few notches i my book when Mick got the title.
  4. I was more of a Davari fan myself. The finishing move that he used in the Indies, The Magic Carpet ride, was funny to me.
  5. It's all the same to Vince. This is the same guy that made Scott Hall a Cuban, and made gave a guy from the US a "Terrorist" gimmick even when he had someone from the middle east on the roster. Edge :point2sky Orton  Looks like I'll be taking a bit of a break from watching the E for a while. ROH and TNA will have to tide me over.
  6. 4. There were tons of blown spots in that match. I honestly thought that the blown power bomb by Shelton and MVP was a larger disappointment. 9. Yeah, I was unaware that he was even performing. I kept skipping ahead in the timeline and wondering why he was still on the effing stage. That was just a stupid idea for a time killer right there.
  7. I downloaded and watched a few of the matches from WM25. The MitB match was awesome as always, skimmed through the Kid Rock bs and the ladies battle royal.
  8. Not sure if it's been mentioned but there's a Ring of Honor show that comes on HDNET on Saturdays at 8pm and Mondays @ 4 for those who are interested.
  9. I look at it more as Vince helping Vikki and family out by making her a personality. Some of the stuff that she has to do on air does make me wonder about that stance though.
  10. Yeah, that's why I was okay with the start of MeM because I thought Sting would finally have a heel run. I start watching TNA after 2 months and now he's feuding with his own stable mates.
  11. Was that at the second or the first One Night Stand?
  12. 1: Yeah i know, but it at least honored the big names and workers who have made this fake sport as revered or maybe even more than some of the real sports out there. (Baseball and Midget Tossing, I'm looking at you) 2: Keep in mind that I haven't been following the E as closely as I once did. All I had known so far was that Rick Steamboat was going to be in there and I thought that was long overdue. 3: Did not know that Pete was in. The whole thing is bunk. I'm sure he let Pete in simply because of his love for the man. Good find.
  13. Vince is reaching at this point. He was a memorable character but not so much a memorable wrestler. This nomination cheapens this year's class.
  14. Anyone here still watch TNA? I just started watching again, it's become a bit more entertaining and appears to be ripping a lot of stuff from the old WWE storylines. Don West going off a few weeks back immediately made me think of JR calling out Vince.
  15. Ha ha...I remember when Scott Hall tossed him head first into the side of one of those.
  16. Ya. A larger wrestler that used a series of stiff kicks and also had a penchant for wearing his hair in the style of a fat Elvis. Joe's taken his style and made it into a "quicker" shoot version of Hash. Check out Joe's stuff from Ring of Honor. He's put on a lot of great matches. Little known fact: Joe's one of the few that Vince regrets letting go. There's a reason he went and snatched up CM Punk. If he allowed Punk to join TNA as well, that would have been a feud that would have really put TNA into serious contention with WWE. Then again, TNA has Homicide and they are content with leaving him in the role of a tag wrestler. A Joe/Homicide feud would get my ordering TNA PPVs again.
  17. Stopped reading here. Yeah the dude isn't your prototypical WWE body builder style wrestler but Samoa Joe has done some great stuff in the ring. I think he's actually modeled his character and his wrestling style into a modern day version of one of his idol, Shinya Hashimoto.
  18. I know right. I have to wonder if some of these are just joke posts. It's a uniform people. It's the play on the field that I'll be paying the most attention to. With the cheerleaders in a close second.
  19. This looks like the tragic story of King Humpty Dumpty.
  20. Adamle got a chuckle out of me when he referred to ECW showing up on RAW was like a march of dimes telecast w/o the sick children. lol
  21. Exactly. This is why I didn't warm up to them initially, but their charisma has won me over. I almost feel ashamed for marking out for those guys the way I do lol.
  22. LOL, that's comedy. It would be interesting to see him in a match with Abyss so that Foley can show him how to really do a match with thumbtacks.
  23. You're preaching to the choir at this point. Also, witty comeback.
  24. Hmm, I wonder if Punk will see more airtime. I mean he IS the champ yet he's had limited airtime for the past couple of weeks.
