  1. Yup, Vince and JR are behind this one. You know how much of a hard on JR has for former football stars. They are going to probably bring him in under the former football star gimmick and have him move away from the Alpha Male.
  2. It's from taping the tail to the body. They rely on their tail for balance. It's funny stuff to see them stumble along.
  3. http://www.rohwrestling.com/ They always manage to get a good portion of my paychecks. i should just go ahead and set up a direct deposit with them
  4. Prime, if you're liking what you see with Punk, be sure to check out some of his Ring of Honor matches. His 3 matches with Samoa Joe were some of the best wrestling I've seen in a few years. It's good to see Punk getting over in the E. I am really happy for that guy.
  5. I believe that they are at their new 9pm timeslot.
  6. I couldn't resist. "Hey, Yo" He looks like an unmasked Hamburglar "G-gi-gi-gi-ge-ge-ge-Geritol"
  7. Time to break out the Holy Hand Grenade. Count no less than three yet no more than 4.
  8. He's a not HUGE, think about a slightly smaller Lashley with more charisma and you've got Monty. He's (unintentionally) a very funny guy.
  9. Sorry I meant the Common Man gimmick, thanks for the clarification. And yes, Midnight Rider was the :pooh:! As for the DVD, definitely pick it up man, it's got some great stuff on there. Great interviews, matches and a ton of old promos. As for the rest of your post, RACK HIM! You brought back some great memories there.
  10. I agree with your post but the word about the whole "American Dream" gimmick with Dusty was that it was all about letting Dusty have a bit of fun after playing the road of head booker in WCW. Vince would got to Dusty time after time and say, "I bet you can't get this over" (refering to either the infamous polka-dot tights, Saphire etc) and Dusty went out there and somehow got these things over with the fans, time and time again. If you can find the American Dream DVD set pick it up. It gave a better perspective on that whole situation.
  11. He looks like he got hit by a finger paint and fabric truck.
  12. RAW was okay, nothing to shout about. I do like Cryme Tyme and most especially their little interaction with King BOOKAH. I loved how Booker said something along the lines of "I don't speak Ebonics" in his english accent and then when he realized his wallet was stolen, he kirked out. Funny stuff. The rest of the show was a bit of a yawn.
  13. Interesting find G. It looks like TNA is stock piling the stars. Oh and I can't forget the obligatory, Fozzy Sucks!
  14. Some of you may have already seen these but if you haven't you MUST check these out. They are work safe, just try not to laugh too loud. Fun with Ahmed Johnson
  15. lose not loose Sorry, just a pet peeve. I'll get over it one day I think that TNA ruffling the feathers of the big boys were cool because all of the pomp and other BS that was the Raw family reunion last night was just too much. I don't recall one good match from the entire 3 hours. As a matter of fact the only things that did get my attention were the 3 champs at the beginning and Mike Rotunda's appearance. It's almost as if it's all about the storylines and plastic puppies.
  16. Why do I have a feeling that his next response will be something like, "It's true....it's damn true"
  17. Yeah I think they are just trying to build up their library at this point. I bet you that Christian will have a Greatest Hits DVD in the next couple of months. :applause: That's exactly the point that I wanted to make. As for current stuff, I checked out ECW the other night and while the show as a whole was a wash, the main event was PPV quality. Test and RVD actually put on a great match. The end was a little predictable, but I was pleased with the pacing and performance that both guys put on. Even with the blown table spot.
  18. Nah man. I mean when he was Sting back in NWA/WCW. Don't get me wrong, I think the TNA DVD will be great but they are very quick to hand out DVDs there. Joe had a greatest matches disk that included not some but just about every match that he had in TNA up to that point. The Sting disk appears to be the same.
  19. Thanks, I got a few more coming. It's kinda slow at work today.
