  1. Or as I like to say...

Until the year I gave up my season tickets moving from the UL to the LL was a pipedream :(

Do you regret giving them up?? I have been on the fence about it for a few years. I hate paying for those preseason games. Plus you seem to do pretty well securing good seats without having season tickets. Just curious what you think now that its been 2 years without them.

  2. No .. but I know people who did and they were told no unless it was a move from the Upper Deck into the Lower Tier.

Until about 2 years ago a move from the UL to the LL at FedEx was unheard of unless you bought some sort of premium package.

  3. I know that, but there were no PSL's in place prior to 2010. Giants Stadium did not have PSL's.

In my years at Giants Stadium (1995-2009) we were moved once (after 97) and that's it.

Did you ever ask to be moved?

  4. How often are you guys moved? It seems like a big part of this website has been moved and that's something that never really happened with the Jets in my years as a season ticket holder, at least that I'm aware of (didn't start paying for them/dealing with them myself until 2006).

No auto upgrades with PSL's. The only way to upgrade with those is to sell yours and buy in another location.

  5. I sure hope this is something we never have in Washington because it will be a cold day before I ever pay Danny boy money for the right to pay for season tickets. It may be the norm in the league today but if it ever happens here I will be watching games on my new home theater.

You can always tell in threads who has season tickets and who does not when the begging for a new stadium starts. Anyone with season tickets now wants no part of a new stadium. PSL's will price many out if it ever happens.

  6. I thought you had to be in a closed compartment, like a garage, for that to happen ?

Its certainly easier there, but I wouldn't want to get caught in a traffic jam with an exhaust leak under my floorpan. All it has to do is impair you enough to wreck.

  7. A friend of mine said the main concern is it raises the possibility of emissions seeping from under the car into the crevices inside the car, and possibily poisoining me. But since it's Summer and I have no A/C, I keep the windows down while driving - does that reduce that risk ? And are there other risks ?

Your friend is right, carbon monoxide poisoning is no joke. Get that thing fixed.

  8. I just moved from 236 from to to 237, I was in row 6 in that section under the cover, you are gonna be very close but probably not under. I think by a row or two. Last year there were a few empty seats that you could move to at times. Hell call the office and see if you can get my seats, row 6 seats 15 & 16 I think. Not a bad view and nice people around there. I'll be 40' from you.

Thanks for the heads up, I emailed them through my account about moving backwards a couple rows, if that doesn't work I'll call them and see if they might do it.

  9. It makes sense to me that tshile got the offer to move down because his UL seats are being removed for the party deck.

I don't think its a question of the offer to move down, its the location to LL sideline that has everyone ****ing an eyebrow.

  10. They called me after the weekend of the draft and offered to move me from endzone in the upper level to sideline on the lower level.

    Just the way they operate.

What section did they offer you? Did you have to get clubs first? Did you take it? Never heard of a move from the UL endzone to LL sideline before.

  11. I am in 207. My account still shows my seats. I did requst to stay in the 200's and to stay home side. Hope that does not hold me up from a upgrade. I did pay on time.

My understanding is they only move you toward the 50 in a like section to the one you are in.

  12. I just got this in a email back from the TO. "We are in the process of doing upgrades right now, so you will be contacted via email if we are able to upgrade your seats. At this time, we are still working on lower level seating so if your seats are in the upper bowl then it will be at least a couple more weeks until you hear something.

If you have any further questions, please contact the Ticket Office."

Does anybody know somebody that is a upper level STH and received a phone call or email yet about an upgrade?

That's a canned response. It may very well be they can't do it yet, but I'd be talking on the phone with them reminding them that when they can I'm at the top of the list according to their email.

  13. I have a email from last year promising me that my seats would be better this year but it didn't really indicate where the seats would be. I still have not gotten any correspondence from the TO yet about where my seats will be this year though.

If I were you I would be reminding them and forwarding the email back to them.

  14. They really should have had info together on those EZ seat movements by Draft Day. It's obvious that it would become public then, and to not have anything to tell a season ticket holder who walks into the stadium to see their seat gone is horrible planning.

  15. yeah, thats what they just offered me over the phone.

so, its what i thought. standard offer to try to get people to renew.

sucks for the people sitting in the field lots, waiting to get bumped to the green lots. exactly the reason i didn't want those parking passes. once they get you in that group they don't have to move you up untnil they want to.

Of the two people I know that received the green passes one had paid already, one had not.

Can't wait to read the S storm from people who are relocated from these seats.

I wonder how these will be distributed. Will they be sold for like $20 bucks each, will they be given to suite owners as a perk to give out??? Anyone have any clues??

  16. At draft day I went and visited the ticket office. I tried to negotiate and upgrade on the spot but they held firm, unlike last year. My seats are already pretty decent(235), so maybe that has something to do with it also. My seats were not paid for, but they did accept my payment and promise to include me in the auto upgrade. Two members of ES who are account holders with just 2 tickets were able to add green parking to their accounts. Neither had any parking before, so it was a leap straight to green.
