I've had my eye on the Webber Kettle for a couple of years.  Did any of y'all experience any paint chipping or screwed up parts?  There aren't many bad reviews, but I do read through them.

Webber Kettle grill. I'm kinda in the same position as you. I plan on buying one just waiting for the rain to break!! Feel,like I'm living in Seattle.

I've heard the pellet grills cook great. There seems to be a lot of feed problems with the pellets though reading about them.

Just checked my Sams Club in VA. Flank goes for $7.27 a pound there. 

I had an interesting car issue.  I have a 2010 Honda Pilot and was caught in the back up a couple weeks ago when the Woodrow Wilson bridge was shut down for a suspicious package.  While barely inching in traffic a terrible grinding noise started which was tied to the rpm of the engine.  It started to have white smoke.  I pulled over, let it cool down.  I started again but turned the ac off just in case.  Turns out it ran fine with no ac so I figured blown compressor. 

I took it to my honda dealership and had them look it over.  Turns out it was a bad relay that was stuck open.  When it sticks the pressure just keeps going up on the compressor until it vents, which they said is the noise I heard.  The smoke was oil and freon hitting the exhaust. 

Popped one in for me for $25 bucks and no problems since.  Feel pretty damn lucky.

That works both ways. Have to have skins fans willing to buy them. There are a lot of skins fans that only want tix if they are discounted.

I thought about the Akorn, but the thing that is swaying me to the weber setup is that it more closely resembles a side box smoker.  My gas smoker I have has everything lined up vertically , the heat, wood, water, then meat.  So the meat drips down and makes a mess of everything.  Having more of a side set up with the water in between eliminates this problem.  I'm sure they both cook awesome, I'm just a lazy **** looking for the easiest way to do anything.

I think you have me talked into this set up.  I've been wanting a charcoal smoker set up, I have a gas one now.  Was thinking one of those ceramic egg types.  After watching all this and the vids this seems a damn good and cheaper way to go. 

I cannot over-emphasize the importance of a couple of digital BBQ thermometers. One for measuring temps at the food grate, and one to leave in the food.

Oh and they make those wireless too.  So you can be relaxing in the house watching a game and it beeps at you if it gets out of your set parameters.

Not surprising really. At NFL game sites they have a staff who's sole responsibility is policing the frequencies used in the stadium. Between the wireless the TV partners use and all the wireless the teams use then throw in other press and it can be a mess. You have to apply with them for the frequency you want to use. It really is a radio wave mess on gameday.

Honda Pilot 2007,

 

1) headlights stay on when I park the car. Every other Honda I've owned the lights go off after about a minute. How to diagnose if it's the relay or something else that is keeping them on.

 

2) When the lights stay on for 30-60 minutes, the battery is drained and I can't start the car. I tested the battery and it's still holds a sufficient charge. Any thoughts of why the car won't start after lights stay on?

I'm sure you probably already did this, but did you make sure on the light control stick it was set to automatic and not to on??

Terrorism is all about inciting fear and over reactions.  The US has roughly 2700 fatalities monthly due to car crashes.  We all still hop in our cars and rarely give it a second thought.  The reaction given the risk is totally out of whack regarding terrorism.  To give up some of the basis of who we are for such small odds is just illogical.

That's what the latest model runs say.  But they are just models, look a yesterdays.  Tomorrows will probably be different.  The timeline has been WAY off.  It just keeps sitting down over the bahamas spinning.

I think the only reason it is cancelled is due to media hype (at this point).

AC is the latest wireless standard and is faster and offers better range than N. If your laptop or Xbox is capable of AC you would want to get and AC router. If not you can get an N or future proof yourself and get an AC.

It's a good router as long as you are aware is is not AC.  It's an N router.
