  1. That's what I'm thinking is that in the end Cowden or Stokes is named GM and Hurney is Senior Advisor. I could be wrong though and Hurney is the GM but we still haven't heard anything is official yet.
  2. Maybe I'm reading into this too much but I think there will be more than just Hurney. I think Cowden or Stokes. Maybe not.
  3. I was hoping we'd get a late night/early morning tweet that our new GM was named. We wait. LOL
  4. They did. I checked Cowden's profile over on the Tennessee Titans site. He was with the Panthers for 16 years before joining Tennessee. May mean something; might mean nothing.
  5. That's what I'm hoping for. We have to wait and see how it plays out. IF Cowden is the hire and Hurney is Senior Advisor, ok. Like I said, it's RR dog and pony show. Yep, Cowden worked with the Panthers for 16 years before joining the Titans in 2016. My guess, Cowden hired as GM and Hurney hired as Senior Advisor.
  6. But why would RR interview Stokes who's behind Smith in position title right now. That's the 64K question to me.
  7. Didn't Cowden and Hurney work together? I don't see Smith in the picture with Stokes being interviewed. I think if Cowden has worked with Hurney he get's the nod. Hope it's Cowden but was hoping more for Schoen from Buffalo. Oh well.
  8. I don't think that RR is going to coach this team is Snyder meddles. There will be a lot of teams out there in another year that would scoop up RR in a second! Don't know what RR is being paid annually but remember that RR cut Haskins. You know Snyder wasn't happy. Should be all you need to know as to who is in control of this team and is running it today. If Snyder starts meddling I think RR says goodbye.
  9. Really don't think so. If Snyder tried to make a move like that I think we will see RR resign! JMO.
  10. I think it comes down to Cowden and Schoen. I think Schoen has the edge. Schoen connections with Beane (GM of Bills) who is VERY good friends with RR.
  11. So Bill's GM Beane and RR are close from their days in Carolina. Joe Schoen is Beane's right hand man and know I focus my attention to Joe Schoen as our new GM. RR has or is going to interview WFT Eric Stokes who worked with Joe Schoen in Miami and knows him well. Is RR not only interviewing Stokes but also trying to find out what other information he can from Stokes about Joe Schoen along with the information and pipeline RR has with Beane. Cowden and Joe Schoen might be the top two candidates and I'd put Joe Schoen slightly ahead of Cowden. Funny how Carolina interviewed Joe Schoen and bypassed him to take the Seattle's AGM. Maybe Joe Schoen turned down the job because he's gonna take the position with the WFT and RR. Merely speculation on my part. Remarks welcomed.
  12. Thanks for posting the info, SIP. It's RR call. We shall see. Guess we will know about Schoen if/when Bills are out of the playoffs. It's wait and see.
  13. Hate to see Smith go. Really like him and will follow him wherever he land because I think he will be McVay 2.0, if you get what I am saying. Stokes and not including Smith is disrespectful to me. A slap in the face. All have ties to Carolina. In the end I am believing more and more Cowden is the pick. I only believe 1/2 of what JLC says if that anyway. LOL
  14. Thanks SIP. I think it will be Cowden because of his prior relationship with Cowden and Cowden was his 1st interview. Might mean something; might mean nothing.
  15. Would you be kind enough to summarize for us, ATG? I have satellite service which restricts my bandwidth. It's be appreciated.
  16. What do you think the price tag as far a trading picks would be to get him to the WFT, SIP?
  17. I might have to eat my words. then but then again it's one writeup (can you provide the link) of what one media outlet thinks of him. Just one.
