  1. Any word on JJ McCarthy's visit yet, SIP? Has it been cancelled or is it still on and if so when. Thanks as always in advance.
  2. Cooley is a one time TE and painter and Pro football contributor and analyst, bless him and I disagree with his assessment as many will mine. Love Peters and think he's done a masterful job in FA but drafting JD is a mistake via my comments. We have a forum with different opinions and that's the beauty of it. I hope JD proves me BIG TIME wrong if Peters draft him.
  3. I can't predict the future but have stated many times that stick man, sorry but that is what he reminds me of, will be broken in two or will suffer many injuries or a career ending injury just like RG3 did and have a short NFL career. I have stated this before. He couldn't escape all the time with his feet in CFB and definitely won't be able to in the Pros. If he had the frame to take the hits fine but I am concerned about a QB that I don't think will hold the weight as it will come off with playing and eventually will be beaten up. Again, my opinion and I would hope it be seen as one that is legit and serious. Peace!
  4. I hope it is a wild ride and has some twists and turns in it. A WILD ONE IF we don't take Maye at #2. Just my take.
  5. My thoughts. Many have theirs. Many JD fans are going to be disappointed when he is not the pick as our franchise QB.
  6. Pearsall in the 3rd if they go high on WR and Tahj Washington in the 6th, ( I think Peters trades down and gets a 6th) if they are looking for WR late in the draft.
  7. Well, your the 2nd ESer who has told me this, MartinC. I'll take both of your opinions on it especially since you watched ND play. What tape I saw on him seemed to show he had talent but I guess not. I do like Rattler though.
  8. Great post, CITR! I respect Joel Klatt! BIG TIME! Drake Maye better be the pick!
  9. I get the love for Rattler and I like him but few if anyone on this site like Sam Hartman of ND as a successful QB in the Pros. Why? I think given the chance he can be successful with a decent cast behind him. Not a star cast but a good one.
  10. 13 days! Count em'! 13 days until the draft. Well, this could be our #2 overall pick for QB! Surprise, surprise, surprise!
  11. JJ is my 1B after Maye at 1A, @Skinsinparadise. Both #36 and #40 can get us in the mid 1st. If we could land Fashanu or Fautanu with trading both 2nds, I'm all in and then draft Rosengarten with one of our 3rds. With Peters being great with mid/late round picks I expect trade downs with one of our 3rds, 4ths (if we get one or two in a earlier trade in the draft) and possible one of our 5ths.
  12. If he's taken it will be at #2. They'll run the clock all the way down and select Drake Maye.
  13. PA, it's a tough call. Yes, IF we could land FASHANU by giving up our #36 and #40, I'd do it. Morgan will be a OG in the NFL due to his arm length. FASHANU is a excellent pass blocker but needs to work on run blocking. We need bookend OTs. Rosengartnen could be had in the 3rd at RT. Got to protect our QB.
  14. Love the idea of getting 2 quality players at #36 and #40 but we need two bookend OTs. Thus, the trade for FASHANU if there in the mid 1st. I don't think Guyton falls to #36 but he'd be more of a project and we need to protect the rook QB.
  15. I disagree. If OLUMUYIWA FASHANU is there in the mid 1st, I make the trade. I got Morgan on my wishlist but his arms are too short for OT.
  16. Trade our 2 2nd rounders to move back into the 1st and draft a starting LT and then draft Rosengarten with one of our 3rds. Got our bookends.
  17. What about Tahj Washington as a late round pick?
  18. Updated: We could trade and draft Fuaga and also Rosengarten as our bookends and still have our 3rds. It would require both our 2nds. Move to #16 with Seattle possibly. I would like both.
