The one thing I am happy about and others may not be is that DQ got former Eagle's OC in the house. KK is highly thought of but Brian Johnson will be instrumental on this team as the #2 behind KK.

Wow, close to crunch time. I am hoping Maye 1A and then McCarthy 1B. Sad that Maye doesn't get the respect and love he should but that's me and again others will say the same about the QB they like. IMO, if everyone goes back and looks at the Pro Days of JD, DM and JJ, JJ's was the best of all of them, I think. It should be the "rule all" decision but JJ was never let loose in Harbaugh's system to throw that much. Harbaugh had a balanced to more run attack at MI. He ran the ball a lot and JJ didn't have the opportunities like the others to throw as much, at least it seemed that way. I think he surprises in the NFL and plays better if a team lets him loose and allows him to throw the ball more. Hey what do I know.

It'd be worth it to me if he were the player we traded those picks for. I can see us possibly trading our second 2nd round pick #40 and our 2025 2nd to move up and select another OT that we like if he falls in the mid/late 20s in the 1st. It also gives us the 5th year option.

For me, I have stated my concerns about JD. If he is the selection at #2, he is and like CapsSkins summed it up, I myself will be rooting like crazy for him. SIP, you know that all of us have our concerns but when it is all said and done 6 nights from now, we will rally around whoever the QB is. I will!

I'm a 1A Maye fan but the leadership deal swings to1B McCarthy all the way via many scouting reports about his leadership.

Because they didn't want there to be any issues between good friends, Maye and Howell as it be best that both wouldn't be on the team together.

Getting his client, JD to LV is my guess. Less money but where he may want to be and a HC that really wants him bad. I can see NE making a BIG trade with LV at this time now. Bring on Maye.
