  1. No, the overall price will remain the same as last year. Preseason games will just have a lower face value on the ticket than regular season games. In the past, all tickets had the same price on them, but it was pretty much impossible to get face value for preseason games.
  2. The letter uses the words "two tier" pricing, so I would assume that preseason will be one price and regular season another price. Also, the letter contained info to do the option to buy the playoff tickets if the team should host a playoff game for either the wild card or divisional round.
  3. Did the other lots go up as well or just the Red Zone? BTW, this chart shows the Admissions and Amusement taxes for MD (effective 9/1/2015): http://taxes.marylandtaxes.com/Business_Taxes/Business_Tax_Types/Admissions_and_Amusement_Tax/Tax_Information/Tax_Rates/AA_Rate_chart.pdf
  4. Gald to see this finally come about....been wanting this for years as my college FB and BB tickets have variable pricing...now if they would just add the cost of the PG County Entertainment tax (about 10% of face) to the ticket like they used to.....hate explaining the PG county tax code whenever I sell tickets to friends.
  5. .....DING...DING....DING....WE HAVE A WINNER...... My seats in upper 1/3 (what was the upper half prior to 2015) of 401 did not change. My Redzone parking pass is $500 for the season...not sure about the other lots.
  6. --- Yeah and we thought tha was outrageous as it was $6(?) at RFK (not sure of this, we took the metro A LOT the last few years at RFK as we NEVER tailgated at RFK)
  7. Pretty gutsy to piss off a ginger kid:

  9. ...needed photoshop of a drunk penguin (not the Batman kind)... Eli Manning is now and forever more the "Penguin Boy." AdChoices The closed captioning gods reached down and blessed the Giants quarterback with a fantastic new nickname on Sunday. In the middle of the broadcast, as the closed captioning subtitles scrolled by, viewers noticed something strange with Manning's name. He was referred to as "ELI MAN PENGUIN BOY." Penguin Boy... How? Why? Who cares? This is great. http://www.msn.com/en-us/sports/nfl/closed-captioning-mistake-blesses-eli-manning-with-a-fantastic-new-nickname/ar-AAfOYXn?li=BBnb7Kz&ocid=iehp
  10. Bump for Giants week....btw, this thread is over 10 years old, but it never gets old.........
  11. Saw some today in 401 row 16 for the Rams game for $45 each...I paid $76 (plus preseason).....d'oh!
  12. I got a call today from the ticket office offering to upgrade me to the club level at 40% off and with a contract for as short as 2 years. He said it would only cost me an additional $1800 per seat (currently about $760 per seat for the season) to move to the club. I said that was too rich for my blood, said goodbye, and hung up.....not sure what zone that would be for, but as soon as he said $1800 per seat, I lost ALL interest.
  13. Is there a comment section on the survey? Under playoffs, I will write, Playoffs?! Don't be talkin' about playoffs! Are you kiddin' me?...Playoffs?
  14. I am looking at the scorebig.com site and they show two levels of club seats: https://www.scorebig.com/washington-redskins-vs-detroit-lions-preseason-tickets-8-20-2015#/name-a-ticket-price One is endzone (but apparently not standing as those are supposed to be gone) and another labeled Club level - Lounge Access. Is this a fancy way of saying "sidelines" or are the people in the endzone prevented from using the lounge?...just wondering....
  15. ...not sure of the date, but it looks like the cheerleaders are holding pink pom-poms, so I am guessing Oct as that is Breast Cancer Awareness month.
  16. Yes, very nice presentation. My tickets came in a water resistant FedEx package and the protective case was dry despite the heavy rain we had in Fredericksburg on Tuesday. I intend to keep the case and store my Redskins and other tickets/passes in it. I have 4 season tickets, but I only got 2 of the pins.....anybody get more than 2?
  17. If FedEx is not requiring a signature any longer, I would not worry because: 1. They can turn off the barcodes and reissue the tickets (parking passes would be a pain though) 2. These are Redskins tickets.....is anybody dumb enough these days to risk getting arrested for stealing Redskins tickets? Heck, there are plenty of games where people don't even show up for the games.
  18. For some reason, my wife's name was on the waitlist. They just called to see if she wanted tickets. I said no, I already have 4. They said they would take her name off the list. if you are keeping track of this, 200,000 - 1 = 199,999.....
  19. How many seats? There are 54 sections in the 400 level. 16 of those are "Big" sections and the rest (38) are "little" sections. Big section: I am very confident on the 21 rows number...not sure about the average per row. 21 rows x 26 (seats per row on average) x 16 big sections = 8736 little section: (Not sure on the row or seats per row) 10? rows x 15? (seats per row on average) x 38 little sections = 5700 So, not counting the SRO on the 400 level, I would guesstimate that there are about 14,436 SEATS in the 400 level. If I had to give a range, I would say 13,700 - 15,150.....this does not include the SRO tickets.
  20. Get off the bench and find out more. 301.276.6033 Upper and lower level seats available RIGHT NOW | Use Promo Code SKINSmgm >> Hmmmm.....looks like lower level seats are still available even after the upgrade process....what does that tell you? Great perks for people who have never been season ticket holders before and we get nothing. >> Reminds me of a line from Caddy Shack: "You'll get NOTHING and like it!". https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0f6l1QljpMo With the demise of the AAA tailgate, I am hoping we will see better SWAG, but I am not holding my breath.
  21. Went in around 12:20 today and saw 4 together and a pair in section 224, 4 pairs and 4 together in section 219...I have NEVER seen anything this nearly as good as this available in the past. I did not pull the trigger as I share 4 tickets with some other guys in the upper level sideline and did not want to almost double the price for everybody. (also sitting on the visiting side sucks due to all the overcrowding with the OV seating).
