That was a pretty good round - good drafting everyone.

    Prospects went about as expected:

    4 QB's

    8 OT's

    2 IOL

    5 WR's

    1 TE

    2 DT's

    4 Edge

    6 CB's

    That's a lot of tackles.

Not only did he reject my trade offer from the broncos, but he swiped my pick from the bucs.

I think what you meant to say is that I facilitated a trade between the two GMs wishing to trade with me.  Everyone's happy.

  3. With the 25th pick of the draft, the Green Bay Packers select
    Ga'Quincy "Kool-aid" McKinstry, CB, Alabama

Green Bay's got a new, aggressive D.C. in town who will play press-man coverage, which plays to the Kool-aid man's strengths, and he should also benefit the run defense with his physical play-style along the perimeter.  After trading away Rasul Douglass at the deadline when we thought we weren't making the playoffs, adding in a new perimeter corner was a priority.

Why aren't big corps railing against house prices, education and medical costs?  All those costs go into what they need to pay employees.  This is what I don't get.  Ramping that up will ramp up compensation, prices and cut into profit.

This is what makes zero sense.

If all those costs went into what they need to pay employees, they'd be paying employees a lot more.

I'm still surprised that SPACs are legal. Investors have no real idea what they are investing in, just that the SPAC will buy something(s) in the future.

It almost seems that they were created to get around the oversight that companies have to go through when going doing an IPO. Essentially the investors have no protections and little to no visibility of conflicts of interest.

Whenever it comes to rich people exploiting things, I'm never surprised it's legal.

RDR2 is an exceptional experience especially when you approach random people and greet them without any malice, and they get upset.

Alright, you forced my hand, brother.

  7. Haven't seen the replay since the game, but my impression was that Wilson's stick ramped up the shaft of the other dude's stick, which is what lead it to the face, not a targeted headshot.  I seem to recall he only had one hand on the stick, too.
