Google also thinks you should use Elmer's glue to keep your cheese on your pizza.

Also why is the cop sticking his head into the vehicle repeatedly while the driver is still in it? Isn't that a no-no?
Because if he puts himself in a position where he can say he feels in danger, he gets a free murder.

you damn kids, didn't know butter chicken on pizza was a trend
I was just in the San Francisco area earlier this month for business, and on one of the days we got lunch from an indian pizza place that made these curry pizzas. I ordered their Chilli Paneer pizza, but they do sell a Butter Chicken pizza.
Just looked the place up and I see they're opening a location in Ashburn.

Sounds like Alito needs to eat more sandwiches. His wife isn’t busy enough and is causing neighborhood problems. Get back in the kitchen Martha!

Has anyone ever gotten a survey from Nielsen? I got one today with a $1 bill inside, with a promise of another 5 if I send in the survey (prepaid envelope), so I did it.
One copy in English, one in Spanish. They wanted to know what genres I watched in each language in the last month.
(It wasn't addressed directly to me, just "resident of XX neighborhood".)
They still do that? They chose our household back when I was in elementary school.

Honestly I assumed people still wearing watches (under the age of 60) were doing it for style purposes. Because it fit their outfit and how they wanted to look.
I figured it was a small % that actually just prefer to check time that way
As a U60, it's both for me. I like the style of a nice watch, and I like to be able to get the time with a quick glance down.
And I just like the whole mechanical nature of watches. I prefer to go for an automatic watch rather than a quartz or other battery-powered watch.

Is there a good big city mayor? A mayor beloved by the people that has done a wonderful job? I was reading through this thread and the thought hit me that I’ve never known of such a person. Every time I read about “the mayor” from wherever it may be, it’s because the mayor is neck deep in problems or scandal.
What about that Guilianni guy? I heard people were super stoked on him 20 years ago.

Long story short, she legit thought women had one less rib. She just figured there was some evolutionary reason for and religion made up a story instead.
Wait, but wouldn't it be the other way? Men have one less rib because it was used to make women?

I’m never going to watch a movie on Trump. Good or bad. Favorable or otherwise. I’m ready for him to be something that happened in the past. A crazy story that took place in a strange time.
That said, I’m always glad to read about Dan Snyder being predictably terrible at everything he does. They really should send a documentary team to just follow him around. It’s only a matter of time before he manages to screw it all up in spectacular fashion and it would be nice to know just how it happened.

As much as I'd like to see Paxton out of Texas, I sure don't want him AG of the United States. He's a criminal.
Is he a free man because he controls the Texas prosecutors? If he left, would he suddenly open himself up to indictment?

I thought Republicans believed in men controlling what their wives do.

Now that I live in the general area of NYC and hear the local politicking and what-not from the local radio, I'll be happy to see him go. Given NYC's track record, though, I don't have high hopes that the next mayor will be clean.

Been blocking tweets here because some threads just get inundated with them and it seemed to have slowed down ES, but somehow the blocking stopped and there is minimal delay.
Still going to scroll by most of them but the issue seems to be resolved for now
Privacy badger hasn't been fulling blocking them for me lately, though they are still not fully-fledged tweets; just the text.

Israel doesn't want to set up a non-Hamas government. Hell, they propped up Hamas to keep non-Hamas entities like the Palestinian Authority from gaining traction in Gaza.

It's largely a societal issue, which is why I think individualizing the solutions won't work ("you just need to make better decisions," etc). When I went to Australia, holy forkin' shirtballs lol...everyone was in shape, at least in Sydney.
That's just survivor-bias. All the fat people were eaten by crocodiles.
