  1. I think guys like Crawford and Blatche are just too dumb to teach. The first step is brining in teachable players.
  2. It's hard to believe EG could put together a team this horrible and still have a job.
  3. "Jordan Crawford has yet to find a comfortable place within the offense. He rarely gets the ball in great position for an open look, and has forced up a lot of shots if he goes a few possessions without a touch." Wow, what a surprise. 9 for 31 shooting? Get used to that.
  4. This team is going to lose a ton of games this year but that's ok - I'll be able to get some cheap tickets to some games and we'll get more ping pong balls for the next draft. With a little luck, we can grab another future star and build a franchise. That's usually the game plan for a rebuild anyway, right?
  5. Ernie Grunfeld is just plain awful. Look at the crap he's put together around John Wall.
  6. I don't think I'm being a negative nancy, just being objective about that this team has. Wall is awesome, no doubt. Nick Young is very good, I'm a fan of his. Blatche is worthless. I thing McGee will ALWAYS be a work in progress. Crawford has a long way to go from just chucking up shots to being a good player. I hope Vesely is good, I have no idea. Everyone else is just filler. Not sure if this team is going to win 50 games any time soon. And if I'm wrong, I'll be happy to eat any crow you put on my plate. I'd love for the Wizards to be good.
  7. So in the last big round of free agency, how come no good players decided to come to DC? We had the cap space. Plus this team has a budding superstar, plus it's supposedly heading in the right direction, plus it's a in a big metropolitan area? Gee, how come the Wiz couldn't land anybody good?
  8. Who was willing to go to Denver and play with Carmelo? Who was willing to go to Cleveland and play with LeBron? Who was willing to go to Toronto to play with Chris Bosh? In today's NBA, what market you are in drives where the stars go. Washington isn't really a small market though. Ted needs to be able to convince people this can be a big market team.
  9. Why would a great player leave LA, Chicago, NY, or Miami to play for a team with Wall, Nick Young, and a bunch of filler players? Hopefully the tall skinny Czech amounts to something but if he doesn't, the Wiz are in complete rebuild mode.
  10. The Wiz are a hard team to like. You have possibly the dumbest player in the league in McGee and the laziest player in the league in Blatche. Wathcing Yi play is just painful and Crawford is an out-of-control ball hog. If this team doesn't add some decent players, Wall will get out of DC as fast as possible.
  11. The Wiz need some big men who can rebound. McGee needs to stop flying around and trying to get a blocked shot on every play. He gets way out of position and makes scoring for the other teams big men a piece of cake. At least that's what the deal was last night.
  12. This team is a blast to watch. They might not hit 40 wins this year but it doesn't matter. The pain and misery of last year was worth enduring to get Mr. Wall.
  13. Look at the +/- of the bench last night. The starters actually did well but the bench was horrible.
  14. The clumsy reporter was awesome. I couldn't stop laughing.
  15. The Wiz have the talent to be decent this year. Unfortunately, the key to that is Arenas and Blatche keeping their heads screwed on tight.
  16. Yeah, it's the Bush is dumb thing. Maybe I consider GW dumber than most people do so I find it funnier than it really is.
  17. I got into WRC then Speed stopped carrying it. Where can you watch it?
  18. Not quite sure how seeing an adult smacking a kid can be considered funny.
  19. But I think you have to be a little bit different type of person to want to be a pro wrestler. I read Mick Foley's first book and the guy is definitely not your normal guy. Plus, some of the stories that Mick told in his book showed that a lot of those guys aren't playing with a full deck to begin with. I'm not saying these are bad guys, just a little bit off.
  20. I'll take a different view of this. Look at the type of people who become pro wrestlers in the first place. These are guys who typically live in a gym and want to bulk up to be as big as possible. Then they join pro-wrestling schools and learn how to basically beat the crap out of each other without getting too hurt. They know going into it they will have to be as big and buff as possible, but that's perfectly fine with them because they are gym rats to begin with. I think people have the cause and effect backwards on people. The people who become pro wrestlers are a little bit different people to begin with.
