  1. Drake May does not have 1000 drop backs, (952) J.J. M. (723) per ESPN. So what would be the rates per 700 or is he left off list for not having 1000? J.J. has got his share of the metrics over....too.
  2. I agree it is the style that Harbaugh wants to play and believes in to win and not that J.J. cannot do it. It's kind of like Lamar and the debate here about winning player of the year and not throwing for 4,000 yards. He didn't because his coach believes in the run and great D. It's still a run first approach for the Harbaughs and they are going to coach that way. It's not going to surprise me if the Chargers go to run first even with Herbert there? He will build the D, Draft a couple TE's get good W.R.'s, RB's but not great ones, build the lines.
  3. He said the signs are pointing to J.D. Like Keim sources, coaches or... from around the league. Just like the It's been Maye all the way talk. When Schefter or Keim say we are taking one of them, I will start to believe them. The cat has not been let out of the bag yet. Different front office this time around is what I am believing. No decision till there is one.
  4. I think it is true Washington does not know who they are taking. And nothing would surprise me after FA and the players they signed.
  5. One thinks Daniels could be a RB at 6'4" 200/210 lbs. Hope they are not Commander scouts.
  6. Josh Downs had a very good rookie year, under drafted a redo he might be a 1st. With that said you are most likely right about him being no.3. still. That's a heavenly advantage for J.D he should have great numbers. It showed in the bowl game without Daniels, they did not miss a beat. Clearly this year's N.C. team lacked talent, Tez can't catch is true. And everybody keeps saying how great a team J.J. had around him? Did he have Bama, F.ST. Georgia,OH.ST.,Texas, Wash. talent around him? Roman and not much else at WR (3rd.rd.?) 2 day 3 OL,1day 2RB. Very good D. I cannot see a 1st. or 2nd. rd. OFF player in the draft other than McCarthy. The best coach that's a big plus over the others. Better talent overall then the other 3 except LSU OFF. but not great. And the second half of the season is when they flopped.
  7. When you win everywhere you go that can be charming. And you have been tested by everybody that is somebody in College football Big Ten, Bama, Wash this last year. H.S. St. champ, Nat champ. He has been driving his own car after making good decisions. J.D. is the riser on the strength of 2 top 15 players in the draft at WR after 5 years to get there. Maye came back to earth this past year.
  8. J.J. throwing to Vikings WR's would be like what J.D. has had the luxury to throw too this pass year. Would be a great spot for him to land.
  9. Seems a little different visiting the Player instead of the reverse. It's down to the other things?, from the neck up, they know what they can do physically. Is he a match for the team and coach?
  10. Just adding, 19 year old QB took his team to the semi's and get's the shake down. 1 RB day 2, 1 OL day 3 is 1 WR day 2. Good players not great on Off. and D.
  11. So far at no.2 it's Maye's turn. Nothing Daniels did yesterday pops out to me with his boys. Why did he not throw at the Combine? And a much tougher blend of throws. Maye has a chance to show off his big arm too and did not throw at the combine. Stroud cranked it up last year at the combine, J.J. made a appearance and had just as good a pro day as Daniels, now Maye has the chance to separate, is my opinion.
  12. I think if Maye shows a big arm today it will make a difference and leave an impression if he does? We know just about everything about all of them what they can do, what they need to work on. Just like J.D. and weight question. J.J. had not been asked to carry the team but he is the youngest. You here about feet and who Maye played against. He has a chance to show he fixed his feet problem, like weight for J.J. I am one among some of the size/style and age people who hold that against Daniels. He did not change anything yesterday for me found out he is a good person. It's just my opinion since we started talking QB's. I would have been alright with Howell and a trade down, that ship has sailed. It's Maye's turn to impress with the teams there for me.
  13. I am hoping Maye shows more today. I still have age and body style as concerns and J.D. did nothing to change that for me yesterday. J.J. is the youngest with at least equal passing ability he has moved closer to no.2 but I would take him with a small trade down if possible. Maye needs to reclaim his spot today at no.2 today its there for the taking..
  14. Wentz 28mil yes, RG3 cost 3no.1's yes. Both stink not Howell 5th rd. made it through the season and got good return nothing from the other 2. This looks too easy for Maye, show the big arm reported by many on here and seal the deal.
  15. I thought J.J. release was quicker and came out with more velocity even on the deep throws. Watched J.D.'s work out on ESPN last night at 8 after watching the video here. Was expecting more from the comments here.
  16. I think the hip drop rule is a good rule. I think TE's and taller WR's will be on the list of favoring this change, it's their worst nightmare. They go across the middle and the smaller DB's do this tackle all the time, but they have turned it into a trip by sticking their leg in between the receivers' legs and the others pile on the leg. It's as bad as the horse collar maybe worst. Like sticking your leg in a ladder as it falls over. If a QB can slide this will not affect him.
  17. Maybe he will do a Deon and run his 40 and keep running till he is out of the LSU campus and in his car burning rubber all the way home.
  18. Flip side of Maye going to Alabama versus J.J.'s route to college is the opposite. He won a state H.S. Championship, transferred to one of the elite high schools in the country playing the best and won a Nat. High school championship, He went to Mich because Ohio ST. lied to his face to get revenge and got it. At 20 years old he led Mich to Nat. Championship at 19 he said he would be back and backed it up. He has been a Winner everywhere he has been and taken the tough roads to get there. J.J. gets the nod over the others as the most competitive and those clutch plays back it up no. wise too. There is no debate here.
  19. But it is the goal everybody is shooting for, we want trophy's in the case. What type QB gets you there is the point? I could careless about the Super Athelete QB. Give me one that is a good athlete that can do all the other things.
  20. I guess we need to define Supreme Athletes then. My opinion of them would be they are not at the moment.
