  1. I was thinking same thing earlier today, went on website, only changes on the site are the coordinator positions, though it still list Kaczor as Special Teams coordinator. Guess they will update as things get ironed out.
  2. Yeah Quinn is used to standing in front of 50 Alphas and addressing them in no uncertain terms. Peters doesn't have that experience. Though he still comes across to me as confident and addresses questions well.
  3. I would be shocked if we dont hear by the time training camp roles around there are no concrete plans for upgrading the facility or plans for a whole new facility. At the very least Im expecting major equipment upgrades without spending the money on the actual structures due to future new facility construction. No way Harris etc realistically feel they can bring in quality folks without at least presenting plans for major upgrades. That report about the facilities last year was embarrassing, cant see this group standing pat.
  4. The Kingsbury hire doesn't have me all that stoked, like you said the assistants are going to have to play a huge role, but I really think Whitt is going to be very good for us on the defensive side.
  5. I didn't know a lot about Quinn until the last couple of weeks, I admittedly was pulled in to the Ben Johnson love fest. The more I have digested what Quinn appears to be about, the more I feel we made the right choice. BJ may be a very good OC but I don't think he would have brought the same passion, connection with staff, coaches and players that Quinn appears to have. Quinn will have the attention of everyone when he walks into a room, he will make guys want to buy in and play hard. Its obvious how badly he wanted this position, its obvious the amount of work he put into readying himself for this job and that's something he has been preparing for for years now, not just this hiring cycle. The above doesn't even touch on anything to do with the Xs and Os but I its also obvious he has learnt from his past mistakes as a head coach. Something guys with no HC experience will know nothing about. His past experience in this particular case with an all new ownership group and rookie GM seems invaluable. Excited to see if this actually works out, much more comfortable with Quinn than the unknows of a first time HC, especially in this environment.
  6. In a perfect world it would be fantastic to know for sure what Chicago is doing at #1. Would make evaluating our pick so much simpler...best available QB, different player all together, trade down? Im confident that this group though will have every contingency sorted out, unlike RR and crew.
  7. Understanding that all teams play the draft game close to the vest but I wonder if we will be talking to Chicago to see what their intentions are? Seems this front office is already well respected and other teams will be more open about their intention is in this case. If Chicago is hell bent on one of the top three they may make their position clear before the draft. Snyder and co burned way too many bridges to ever get that kind of trust/cooperation from other teams.
  8. Yeah I think the "money" issue is usually overblown. I think if two organizations are in the same ball park other factors will come in to play that override the money. Using money as an excuse is easier than going into detail about why you prefer a certain job over the other.
  9. I still don't even see Quinn on the Commanders web site. It's been mentioned that perhaps the team is waiting to get all its ducks n a row with hirings and firings before going public. Would actually be a nice change of pace to come out prepared over the last regime. This group is certainly tight lipped.
  10. Hoffmans take was that even though Logan would love to coach he also loves his family life and does not relish the long hours that an assistant would have to put in. Personally I think if given the right position he would take it.
  11. They dont want to hear my rant about all the silly crap that surrounds the super bowl and the regular fan that supported their team all year long cant get a sniff at attending.
