    A reminder...

That’s what it is going into the draft but could change if we trade up into the first round to get an OT or could change if we trade down and pick up a pick or two.

If we trade back into the first round, I’d prefer somewhere after 20. Wherever we move up, only costs us one 2 and one 3.

Welcome aboard Jayden. May you have a nice long career here and earn some of that Superbowl bling.

Even tho everyone says Jayden I still think Peters and Co. could pull a fast one. And I wouldn't hate it.

Supposedly the Athletic reported that while Daniels and Maye had supporters , Peters came to the conclusion that Daniels is the guy.

I think the only surprise would be if it wasn’t Daniel’s.

We have to do everything so he can last 10 years.

I’d also draft a Brock Purdy type this year or next, in case Jayden doesn’t work out.

I remember those dialup days. I was 32 in 2000. I remember the 91 superbowl run, as I lived in Falls Church that year.

  3. I have no idea who we are drafting, though I think it will be Daniels. I am just hoping all the noise around Daniels causes us to skip him and we take Maye or McCarthy.  Whoever we take, surround him with talent to succeed and an oline to protect him.

I think because so many teams need a qb, there will be 6 qbs drafted in the first round. Teams might reach for Pennix and Nix, trade down a little and take them

later or trade back up in first round to get them.

What would be great if this class rivaled or surpassed the 1983.

I doubt they'd penalize them draft picks this close to the draft. That would completely eff up their strategy. My guess is 2025 picks if anything but probably a fine.

They could switch picks. Minny gets Atlanta’s 8th pick and Atlanta gets either 11 or 23.

Eagles and Cardinals did that with the tampering over their head coach and that was done right before draft started.

This is the first I've heard of this (apologies if it was already posted):

She's nuts enough to be lying, but the MAGAs of the House are also nuts enough to drive some GOP members into immediate retirement lol...

Dems shouldn’t help Johnson. Just wait and see.  If the motion to vacate causes enough gopers to flip control to Dems; then just sit and see if that happens.

Because there’s no benefit to them to make the intentions known.

Also, I take Peter’s at his word they were meeting over the weekend to finish grades and conversions so they could come up with a final answer.

Yeah, they probably will make the final decision tomorrow.

I think our team will be featured Day 1 & 2; since we have 6 picks in Top 100.

  7. Did a double dose of

    movies yesterday.

Saw the vampire horror flick Abigail. The little girl vampire kicked ass. Gets a B.

Then saw The Ministry of Ungentlemanly Warfare. Based on a true story of British agents sabotaging a Nazi ship. Ian Fleming based James Bond on someone involved in this mission. Gets an A.

All the media guys are big mad today. Schefter’s fighting with McAfee, Breer is pissed about Vegas, Keim is salty as hell with people, and now Riddick tries to big boy this Twitter dude by pounding his chest about his knowledge of the “body of work” — and then conveniently providing one year’s worth of data out of a 5-year body of work.

They are frustrated by this Daniels situation. They think it should be a done deal.

Daniels will go where the teams feel he should go.

It will be funny as hell if he drops out if the Top 10.

If we don’t take him, my guess the Pats take him or someone trades up to Pats spot and takes him.

  9. I prefer we stand pat or even trade down a little for one of our second and third rounders.

Having 6 picks in top 100 is an opportunity to find at least 4 starters. If we can get 4 or even all 6, that would be a historic draft.

I agree with @RWJ. Here's my conspiracy theory that I actually think might be the most plausible possible explanation: Antonio Pierce has told Jayden he thinks New England is willing to trade down from 3 but that Washington is sticking at 2. If Wash selects Maye, he will make the Godfather offer to go up to 3 and get him. But there's nothing he can do if Wash takes him at 2. So the agent is pulling a pseudo-Eli and trying to push the Commies towards Maye to give Pierce the opening to move up to 3.

Pierce maybe willing to trade up but I read the Gm isn’t.

  11. If I’m drafting in the teens, moving down second round is going take more than our round 2 picks at 36/40.

They will want at least one high 25 pick.

Even if it’s 2 picks, that seems a lot for an o-lineman.

I’d rather stand Pat and take what’s available.

Now, if they could package Allen for our OT ; I’d be willing. We can draft his replacement,
