Cool Hand Loki
I gather that several of the attendees yesterday were "uninvited" - can anyone tell me where to find a list of those players? I played with/against a few of the people who are trying out, and I'm interested to see how they're faring. Thanks in advance.

Cool Hand Loki
No, I meant uninvited. They were undrafted, signed for a tryout, practiced yesterday, and were subsequently "uninvited" for future practices. Cut. "DISMISSED." Thanks for the list, where'd you find it? VMAN911
I knew Zach Mill would get released early... he's a bum, and should have never taken a roster spot on the team.
rdavis2005
http://www.redskins.com/news/newsDetail.jsp?id=6849 Also let go from camp were the following players: quarterback Zack Mills, offensive lineman Amos Lamb, cornerback Tyrone Hall, safety Ron Frazier and linebackers Malcolm Postell and Mike Sanders......... As well as Troutman.
stoney26
Who is william Frisby? It says he was a miami basketball player but i only heard about Troutman. Is frisby still working out with the team?
goldenchild
Frisby was a solid player on Miami's basketball team, so it should be interesting to see if he can catch on here. Maybe he has the passion to make it, unlike Troutman. I think it's definitely worth trying out, considering the success of a guy like Gates. A good PF could be a great TE, since they've got amazing size, better speed than most football players, and often good hands as well. Obviously it would be a tough transition for anyone who hasn't played football for a while, but it'd be worth the effort, I think.

Joe Sick
Malcolm Postel, LB, 6-1, 231, Pittsburgh - DISMISSED DAY 1 Uh,oh. Possible disgruntled employee... I wonder why there are all these stories about Troutman out there, when Frisby made it to the second day?

Then Mills got injured and Campbell had to make all the throws anyway.

GoDannyBoy
I think that to be released on day one they probably had attitute problems. Either or they were really dumb. I don't know why you would bother with Troutman to cut him on day one is poor scouting.

It has been said that basketball players are the best overall athletes. I wouldn't be surprised if more teams begin looking for just plain old athletes. wwninja420
From what I understand the "invites" do not get payed, and also have to sign an injury waiver. Not sure on the UFAs.
