It is too controversial... no <br />one is "right" or "wrong"... and all it does is piss off those who read <br />and participate. <br /><br />Sorry guys.... normally I wont touch the crap on this board, but this <br />thread was just an excuse to find reasons to dislike your fellow members. <br /><br />I'll have none of that. It seemed like we were expressing our opinions in a respectful manner to me...sorry about posting the link, but I was using it to support my opinion. You could have just deleted the post, not the entire thread<br /><br />If you deleted this thread you should've deleted the "OT: Poll in the Islamic World Shows..." thread. That degraded into Art and Kefka calling each other bigots. <br /><br />I can see deleting it if we start calling each other names, but I thought it was an interesting topic to discuss.<br /><br />I don't really understand, I guess. I understand your desire to curb any ugliness amongst the Redskin faithful here, to be sure, Blade. However, rather than inciting intense debate and name-calling, the only folks who seemed to be paying that thread any attention were those of the pro-life persuasion, making it one big agreement-fest. Not too much gets removed from any of the boards hosted here, so, it's hard to complain too loudly against Blade's decision here.<br /><br />I didn't delete the abortion thread much the same as I didn't hinder or delete the thread I was participating in below because I feel it's appropriate, especially on this board, to allow all manner of discussion to take place. Even with the discussion I was participating in, I almost ended it because the only thing I really feel shouldn't be allowed is disingenuous lies or propoganda. Had Kefka not admitted the obvious responsibility of the terrorists who committed the crimes against the U.S., I'd have ended that thread under those guidelines.<br /><br />Still, there are limits. Blade is a good Nanny for the most part, and even though I may not always agree with his calls, I think his calls are so rarely intrusive that we shouldn't give it too much angst.
