What did he say?

In general he is just very articulate and goes beyond the typical drivel of most sports journalists (including ex-players).  He is a little bit like Sheehan in that regard, although more knowledgable.  Yesterday he made a really interesting point about the poor performance of NFL officials recently.  He said that they are paying so much attention to the potential head shot or other dangerous play that they are missing the more classical infractions. For example, when Ponder is scrambling to the right and Peterson holds and then blocks our DB in the back, the officials are probably paying more attention to Ponder and any potential illegal hit.  I had really never thought of that.
