project myu
Let's say Redskins win, Giants lose, Panthers lose, Cowboys win. So for wildcard weekend, we get: Tampa Bay Redskins Giants Cowboys Redskins get a home game and beat the Giants (again). Cowboys beat the Buccaneers. Cowboys take on the Seahawks. Redskins go to Soldier Field. What if Redskins and Cowboys both win (remember, Cowboys lost by a field goal when they played the Seahawks earlier this season). dfitzo53
As nice as that would be, we can't expect to walk all over them to the tune of 35-7 in the playoffs.
jaderock
I like your thinking - I hope your new year wish comes true. I'm still worried about the Eagels as the Giants pretty much have a cake walk over the Raiders.
Hogie
Then that would be awesome.
Potato Sack
Let's just get past the Eagles. Although they're throwing in some bench players, the Eagles always make me nervous.
docsandy
I'll think about all this after we beat the Eagles.
SkinsFTW
This is the scenario I've been wishing for since the Cowboys game. It would be the best season ever to beat them 3 times in one season. At least we could say that we have done something that they never have since they've never beaten the Redskins in the playoffs. It would be the 3rd Super Bowl run achieved by beating Dallas too.
Robbynice
I will gladly join this discussion after the game on Sunday. That you can take to the bank. For now my focus is the Iggles and getting into the playoffs.

santanamoss89
That would be great to have 2 playoff games. But its probably not gonna happen.
we_want_56
I never thought of that scenario. I'll be plauing that in my mind all day now.

Loxley
Can Dallas honestly beat the Seahawks though? Alexander would run it all over them. As much as id love for us to beat Dallas a 3rd time i just cant see them hanging one on the Seahawks. Fair enough they will probably beat the Rams but it would take a lot for all three nfc east teams to get into the playoffs.
RamsTheMan
Cowboys don't make the playoffs if we make it...so its impossible.
Louie 14
The most difficult part of it will be this week. Lets hope.
NOVA2Tampa
Cowboys don't make the playoffs if we make it...so its impossible. Wrong...if Dallas wins and Carolina loses this week, the Cowboys are in. Yet another NFC Championship game in DC??? I drool just thinking about it...but hey, let's beat the Eagles first, m'kay??? Tom [Giants fan]
I had a scenario similar to this in another thread. Only it has the Redskins coming to Giants stadium for the NFC Championship game. All these possibilities will be answered tonight if the Giants win and tomorrow if they lose. Because its slim-to-none that the Redskins would lose to the Eagles anywhere after that.
