DeMarco Murray 29
Have you seen the guys on the show? They aren't exactly regular Joe's. They are guys who played college ball for 3-4 years. One guy was a 4 year starter at Texas at Corner. Just like signing Mike Williams eh ....
kiingspadee
Ummm why were they not drafted then?
DeMarco Murray 29
Ummm why were they not drafted then? I didn't say they were the next Tony Romo sits to pee's or going to be the next Champ Bailey at corner. But you laugh at the show like Jerry is taking regular average guys and trying to make this team. Two of the guys have NCAA National Championships and most have D1 experience. Just a second shot. Talk about Camp Fodder. This wasn't and isn't a Jerry Jones idea or show. It was the brainchild of Michael Irvin and JJ agreed to let the winner of the show have the last spot on the training camp roster. You are right, they will be nothing but camp fodder. They could only be with the team for one day for all we know. Thats why its no big deal and noone should really care from a football view of it. Noone is claiming they are going to find some great player. Its simply JJ helping Irvin stay on TV and make a little money. The fact that its another way to have the Cowboys brand out there is really all JJ is getting out of it.

Everyone that goes to camp has a contract, that doesn't mean the winner makes the final 53 man roster.
